Looks is 99% more important than everyone wants to admit. But an unattractive-average looker person with a good personality isn't bad either. 9 times out of 10 the more attractive looking person will get chosen.
I like both, attraction and mental. Nobody want to be with a gorgeous idiot, and nobody wants a brainy ugly lookin dog, just being honest. What is true beauty? Is it not in the eye of the beholder? Think about it.
If you are only mentally attracted to someone, you might as well go out with someone you really have a lot in common with. Someone of the same gender.
Point is, relationships are pointless without sexual attraction.
Look at your eyes: no expression, no intelligence, no glow. Look how you hide your face with your hair fixed, look how insecure and low class your body language is. On top your voice sounds no brain. Happy New Year.

I wonder how your paintings would have gone over at the art school that I attended. The painting department can be pretentious and exclusive, but they're thorough and cerebral also. I hope they wouldn't dismiss your paintings. They're very harmonious, simplified, and colorful. I think the work's quite outside of the contemporary spirit, but that doesn't have to be bad.
I'm more of a physical kinda guy, but they need to have some smarts and not be a tottal knob. I also tend to have alot of friends that are girls who are smart.

I really enjoyed this painting. The positioning of the figures. The way the girl with the bird is looking down as if she is finding interest within what she holds. She seems inquisitive, thoughtful, and more real than the girl in the back ground. I enjoyed it.
People seem to always look to who they are sexually compatible with more so than on an intellectual level. Physical attraction is nice, but if two people cannot seem to click without the physical, then it will fail.

Personally, a good personality (or "mental attractiveness") trumps looks in the end, EVERY TIME. When we are done chasing appearances, it comes down to this because everyone has something ugly to see if you get close enough, not to mention we age, get sick etc. Not to say I'm quite done with chasing appearances, being that getting to know someone often starts with physical attraction, but if the choice is between the two...I would go with the mental
Here is my advice for your friend : if he likes them both, why doesn't he get them both? If he's honest about it, that's alright. Best of both worlds.

I interpreted the blue round handled object held by the man as a mirror. The mirror is an effort by him to reflect on himself - looking into his own eyes/soul to help him with decisions. After all, is this decision as much about his own soul as the girls? Who he is and what he really wants?

On the painting it seems to me that you've also (consciously or not) inserted yourself into it. The man is supposed to be torn between the two but you have one woman take both center and foreground over the supposed lustful bikini one in the background who you can hardly see doesn't seem very interesting. The one in the foreground perspective seems far more attractive and sensual than the bikini object lol and the way I see it, resembles you just a tiny bit ;)
I see the message as saying, why not just put the bikini on the woman in the center and will have both?
Otherwise it is important to have both lust and love as I've learned otherwise the relationship is not complete. If I had to choose though, the latter will give you a lot more happiness for longer than just having the former though. I can speak from recent experience.
it's not really that hard to be honest. this world has over 7 billion people. if it comes down to 2 people? then he's not looking in the right places...it's tons of attractive girls, tons of smart girls he could get along with better. the problem? Finding them rolled into one person.
I would never think that something of this genre could ever entertain as much as this does. You transcend every documentary type video I have ever seen, you take the viewer through to creation process, and put all of yourself into the video. You are a true artist, with an amazing personality, and watching these videos is very insightful and enjoyable. Thank you.

You should also find somebody whose sense of humor is like yours. If you can make each other laugh, you're lucky. The physical is more important in getting the relationship going. Okay, one last thought... If I HAD to choose between two women, I would choose the one I had more in common with intellectually/emotionally. we also must remember that, unfortunately, because of aging, everyone will eventually reach a point where they are no longer as attractive as they used to be. if you went into the relationship purely because of physical attraction, then you are screwed at this point, since that is no longer there. heck, maybe aging isnt even the problem. for instance, would you stay with someone, even if they had a serious accident that disfigured them, or abandon them
hmmm, I think if we are being totally honest & not kidding ourselves, we must admit that physical atraction does play a part in liking someone. however, personality could be a deal-breaker for me. for instance if a girl was extremely hot, but was an airhead or something, I wouldnt go for her. doesn't mean the girl has to be a genious or anything tho.

the bird is like the intangible beauty in her mind. not the truth but what it is imagined to be. she is optimistic and wonderful and maybe innocent.
I actually thought the object in his hand was a magnifying glass he's using to examine the two hirls, more closely examining them, trying to weigh strengths and flaws between the two girls to find which he felt was better for him.
What attracts me to a woman is a genuine caring kind hearted nature and for looks she can't be ugly but doesn't have to be a super model either. A plain jane with a heart of gold that knows how to treat a man is my kind of woman. Attention whoring superficial shallow lying scum need not apply to be my partner.
Been to Phuket four times but never to the Chinese vegietain festival, but very interested in chinese religion and culture. Interesting how the festival is not praticed in china anymore only in Thailand buy the thai-Chinese. Chinese from all over Asia go there to attend it though.

we also must remember that, unfortunately, because of aging, everyone will eventually reach a point where they are no longer as attractive as they used to be. if you went into the relationship purely because of physical attraction, then you are screwed at this point, since that is no longer there. heck, maybe aging isnt even the problem. for instance, would you stay with someone, even if they had a serious accident that disfigured them, or abandon them

hmmm, I think if we are being totally honest & not kidding ourselves, we must admit that physical atraction does play a part in liking someone. however, personality could be a deal-breaker for me. for instance if a girl was extremely hot, but was an airhead or something, I wouldnt go for her. doesn't mean the girl has to be a genious or anything tho.

i would look more on the inside of a person because the outside changes with age were as the inside becomes more wiser and more aware and has learnt much more wisdom on many levels that to me would be the attraction mental more then pyshical.. :0)

to me attraction is about matching sense of humor and matching colors :) the way i see your painting.. none of the girls can be more than just a friend to the guy in the armchair, but one of them is holding the key to his happiness and this one he should choose. btw. nice bottle make-up Val :) oh.. and i really don't think it's the men who should choose. it's like you would want to send a blindman to get you some paint.

I beleive he should pick the woman he has a emotional, and mental conenction with, becuz beauty isnt forever in a physical form, but beauty in you rheart and soul can last forever. Plus you can always loose the attarction to a woman you only had a physical thing for. But if you turly love someone, then mentally love is enough, and thats where the true beauty lies

my conjecture: the object is like a flower. it tranfixes him and he is bemused in the existential nature of the mind. the decision is like finding meaning in a beautiful flower: the answer is what you create.
the bird is like the intangible beauty in her mind. not the truth but what it is imagined to be. she is optimistic and wonderful and maybe innocent.
beyond human conjecture? what do you think?

What attracts me to a woman is a genuine caring kind hearted nature and for looks she can't be ugly but doesn't have to be a super model either. A plain jane with a heart of gold that knows how to treat a man is my kind of woman. Attention whoring superficial shallow lying scum need not apply to be my partner.

Been to Phuket four times but never to the Chinese vegietain festival, but very interested in chinese religion and culture. Interesting how the festival is not praticed in china anymore only in Thailand buy the thai-Chinese. Chinese from all over Asia go there to attend it though.
