  • That is for ivey like 2$ for us :D)

  • thats complete bs- phil ivy %100 out played him- and that fucking donk had his ass saved by that fucking rigged full tilt piece of shit site.

  • PokerView allows US players on their site

  • Full_Tilt_Poker_accepts_USA_players-for_real_money_deposits_and_when_you_sign_up_with_Referral_Code:FTUS600_you_get_a_600$_bonus

  • That is why I love suited connectors

  • sometimes the right decision cant cost u alot of money, ivey prob just laughed it off anyway ,i think townsend played the hand great though, im sure many will disagree,it def looked like he hit the strait and didnt want ivey to hit a flush, or maybe he knew ivey had kings and thought he would fold, his bravery was rewarded

  • like the flat call from ivey preflop

  • @Furthermore23 I hate it.

  • I'm shocked more people don't know about the referral code: FTUS600 that gets your 600$ for signing up with Full Tilt Poker

  • I just got a 600$ bonus from Full Tilt Poker all because I used the referral code: FTUS600

  • WOW Full Tilt Poker gave me 600$ when I used the referral code: FTUS600

  • i dunno know bout anyone else but i find i can't play my usual game when i play online. i end up playing way to aggressive cause it is so easy to raise with just a click of the mouse. also i find atleast it's hard to get information, and alot of people use online software to get records of peoples play which i dont like, not safe imo.

  • interesting that ivey flats KK when they're so deep

  • thats not townsend lol!!!!!

  • thats what happens when you only flat call someones raise with pocket kings...

the way ivey should of played it is standard - and is so obvious i aint even going to go there...

  • @XGOD3210 true man thats another example of slowplaying blowing up in your face ivey at least should have shoved on the flop with all the draws, letting townsend see the turn gave him 5 more outs

  • @g7bgko Him slowplaying got him getting all the money in, in a situation where he was a 70+% favourite with one card to come.

If he four bets townsend, townsend folds his raggy hands

  • Lol at the idiots in the chat box thinking they're better than Ivey.

  • lol donkaments

  • what a fish play...5s with a straight draw for 200k?????????

  • @Howie1335 how many 5s??? i only see one 5 o_O

  • so hard to put bt on a hand, he played it like AK, AQo but seeing that he had such a big draw must have surprised ivey

  • Comment removed

  • It seems like Ivey always has the best hand.

  • If Phil Ivey is a donk, what are you???

  • phil is used to getting rivered , remember moneymaker ?xD

  • why are people acting like townsend made the worst move ever. he had 13 outs: two 6s, four 9s, four 4s, three 5s

  • @acies92 did you count phil's outs? LOL

  • so ivey had all the other

  • @acies92 which means he was a 7:3 dog when he got the money in.

  • @acies92 lol you r such a moron. I took 225 from you in like 10 mins.

  • @acies92 LOL you are right he had 13 outs but on the turn when he put all his money in the middle he only had about a 26% chance to make his hand. Therefore, I declare this a suckout.

  • Getting rivered is probably the biggest stick up the ass in poker...

    I feel your pain, Ivey.

  • What I find funny is if the hands were reversed then nobody would be calling Ivey a donkey and that he was a good for making such a good play!

  • ridiculous!!!

  • Bunch a cunts in the chat room!

  • anyone with the name phil gets the worst beats. fucking makes me sick

  • i think he wanted ivey to fold with his shove

  • i think he wanted phil to lay down with his shove an overpair or overcards.

  • Ivey always gets rivered

  • soo lucky

  • must be nice...

  • yeh i think overall it was a bad all in by townsend

  • I think someone was dancing around the computer.

  • lmao haha that comment made me laugh hard.

Seriously though ive caught miracle 1 outers for 50bucks & danced around the whole house like i just won the lotto or something, then i see this & 300k+ pots of FTP & think damn that 50 was barely chump change lol

  • that was fuckign sick...disgusting

  • OMFG MOFO RIVER RAT!!

  • no different at stars bad beats all day long.

  • Comment removed

  • You are so right. Having played there myself I know exactly what you mean.

  • @FearISaWMD i heard full tilt has a lot of these bad beats?...

  • @lobzdik so do pokerstars and partypoker ... and all those that are saying : "you probably just play bad" , save the effort because losing with for instance KK vs 78 or AA vs KK is not because you play bad , it's bad luck ! countless hands where I dominated the other player and still lost ...

  • 4, 5 ,6 , or the 9 wins!

  • 9 or 4 or 6 dude its lucky anyway...

  • he would have won with a 4,5,6 or 9, that's 13 outs, not that lucky, but somewhat lucky.

  • I believe he was trying to represent an existing str8 since he put Phil on the flush draw or a higher pair. The kind of play that happens all the time on the internet. This time it worked out, but the odds show that it does not more often.

  • Comment removed

  • No, Not really.

  • Maybe you cant read, on the more info it states "Press the HQ button if you're having trouble seeing the numbers". Not to mention there is always a HQ button on most videos.

  • click on the HQ button, idiot

  • Yeah.learn how to read.

  • Actually, the fact that he was allowing cards to be seen cheap makes trips unlikely too.

  • Wow, that's pretty sick. It makes you wonder if Townsend might have thought he was looking and 5, 6 of clubs. The really amazing part is that Ivey insta-called. Not even a pause to consider a straight or trips. He must have thought townsend was playing with pocket tens or better based on the preflop play, and ruled out aces based on the fact that he was allowing cards to be seen cheap. Great call by Ivey, shame the cards disagreed.

  • looks like bullshit to me...ivey shoulda had that hand long before the turn and river

  • lol at all the retards spamming the comment box begging for money.

  • nh guys

  • smooth call preflop by ivey

  • I think Townsends push isnt that bad he has a 1:3 chance of hitting the river and knowing Ivey hes usually already in the lead with a pair of sixes lol

  • Phil Ivey is amazing because he is ALWAYS putting pressure. On the flip side, at time he builds pots that are too large for the strength of his hands. Against Townsend, who overvalues marginal hands, it is very likely Ivey is ahead with kings. However, there are so many hands Townsend could have that crush Ivey like 2 pair, sets and straights, all of which Townsend would shove to prevent a cheap fd. Just about any decent draw will only be about a 2:1 dog to kings. Not a great situation.

  • 2 6's 3 5's 4 4's and '4 9's make 2+3+4+4 15 outs time 2,2 is 33% chance he hits the river.

Plus raise makes it even better cus u can win the pot right away!!

  • but he went all in for 95000$ with a pair of 6's .... huumm, that was a sick risk.

  • Wow, that ain't fair lol. Phil Ivey is awesome...

  • this is reassuring. i thought i was the only one who took bad beats from idiots on FT

  • Brian Townsend an idiot? LO fkn L

  • that guy got lucky

  • he had a lot of outs... but it was a huge raise tbh

  • offcourse it's real lol

  • is this poker with real money?????

  • god, ivey played it so well. the preflop call after the reraise was hella. suckouts ftl

  • is it real money ?

  • Yes.

  • shiit and the money u take it for u ?

  • yes

  • @mjksoccer hahahahaha what a stupid question!!!!! do you really think that Phil Ivey would play virtual money???

  • @mjksoccer of course

  • all u cry baby's nothin but donkey ass losers........

  • Ivey played this hand really Well but thats Poker!

  • no bad beat he´s got 13 outs any 4 any 6 any 5 any 9

  • 13 outs on one card makes 26%

    preflop he had about 20%

so i think u can callthat a bad beat

  • Full Tilt & PokerStars are NOT rigged idiots!

  • Thats why i would never put my money up and gamble on fulltilt ,i see it does this time and time again in the freerolls that i played , Its sooo BUSH .. it needs to be shut down

If you ask me. they are other good sites outhere where the best hand holds up 9 out of 10 time, unlike here where some wacky stuff takes place on the turn and river.

  • The best hand should only hold up 9 out of 10 times if it has a 90% chance of winning...most of the time it's not that much of a landslide though.

  • I think the problem was that Townsend didnt really have Ivey on a monster in this case. Furthermore I' m convinced that u dont wanna get a call there but if yes u are not drawing dead completely. He wanted to represent a hand like 10 9 making Ivey fold 10s Js or even sth like 8 7 !

Another option would be that he had him on a flush draw Ac Xc making the river way to expensive to come up for Ivey!

  • thats a normal hand on full tilt poker

  • this proves that fulltilt is racist.

  • lol....watch the comment box on the bottom left of the screen when the cards are shown. The railbirds go absolutely INSANE!! lololol

  • OMG no way

  • bad beat

  • i wonder how much food phil ivey stores in his cheeks?

  • likely the funniest comment i've ever read on youtube.

  • any 4 any 9 any 5 any 6.

    you guys suck

  • brian townsend got banned in full tilt, didn't he.

  • Yeah for multi accounting.

  • Holly crap !!! that river was sick

  • dont see how full tilt is rigged. how does screwing one of their pros any good to full tilt. ur gonna get just as screwed on every other pokersite

  • oh my god the guy had a 1 in 3 chance of hitting his straight on the flop and he hit it, full tilt must be rigged! how does a guy win a 1 in 3 chance? lol, figure it out, full tilt is not rigged.

  • But shoving all in on the turn against Ivey who has shown strength every step with just a draw is a bad play. It was fairly obvious Ivey would be calling.

  • 1 in 3 chance lol, he had 4outs on the flop more like 1 in 6 chance, becauase he turned a pair. He then had about 1 in 5 chance to make a winning hand on the river, the site is not rigged, but get your facts right when you start to get that cocky.

  • He has open ended straight draw on the flop, any 9 and 4 would make his hand, 8 outs, 1 in 3. But yea saying that the site is rigged is ridiculous.

  • that just GOT to hurt

  • i lost like 150k in a similar hand.

  • got pounded lol

  • full tilt is the absolute worst with bad beats. go to i think its called noblepoker, or pokerstars. full tilt is fuuuulllll of shhit

  • man i am with u 110%, call an all in preflop or flop with a killer hand and expect to lose to a weeker hand

    fulltilt is bullshit

  • lol catchy

  • LOL you think the sites have anything to do about ur bad beats?

  • pokerstars is just as bad.

  • no hes right just that full tilt has some shit but pokers starts is worse

  • lol you must be a really bad player^^

  • LOL @ CHAT ROOM

  • Are they playing with real money? I know you can play with real money or with fake so sorry if I sound dumb, I'm just wondering.

  • It's real.

  • He made a big bluff and got called on it, he still had like 13 outs to win the thing. he obviously doesnt want to get called but imo its a decent position to try an all in semi bluff

  • I guess we all know how these guys build bankrolls online, suckout for 230k against a great player. Dont fill sorry for Ivey, probably got his money back the next day at the big game.

  • ivey played this hand like a genius.

  • Brian Townsend is a really good player, but im not sure what he was thinking in that hand

  • I keep laughing my ass off on that chat, how everyone thinks they are even being listened to..handly lil 'block spectator chat' button.

  • the chat window is pretty funny :D

  • JFCVDHSAFHASDFHHSFASDFHASDHFHSAFDHHASFDHASHF wow that what i called jewed.

  • Ivey has some pretty crappy luck on Full Tilt.

  • Townsends' nickname used to be Sbrugby. He singed a deal with Fulltilt and became a "redpro" and now he uses his real name. The video was recorded almost a year ago.

  • haha i think i was on ftp and watching this hand when it happened

  • The fact of the matter is Ivey is consistently a very good player. Poker is a long term thing and you can't measure success by afew hands.

Make that play 1,000 times and ivey would have made millions.

  • Bad luck Ivey but your still number 1

  • haha the chat goes crazy :D

  • wow townsend is pretty bad... that was brutal

  • how is he bad? he had ivey figured on a big pocket pair so he tried blowing him off. Ivey is to rich not to fold kings so of course hed call over 100k

  • it was pretty obvious the 'all in' was a bluff to try and push ivey off the hand, even I thought that as soon as I saw the push.

  • in his defense he had an open ended straight draw, but not really that great with only 1 card to come.

  • that kind of bs only happends on fulltiltpoker

  • If anybody has trouble seeing the numbers and the cards, add &fmt=18 to the end of the address of the video(to the end of the url in the address bar) , makes it a lot better(I didn't find this out).

  • that's painful. townsend must have KNOWN he was beaten, and it was a good call by ivey, townsend had a 30% chance to win the hand, but probably thought ivey was being typically aggressive with nothing in his hand (maybe two high cards, AK) and that he wouldn't call an all in. townsend read ivey's hand badly, good call by ivey, bad beat. anyone who says 'bad call ivey' are idiots, high stakes pros don't just fold if there's a potential better hand out there, it's more complicated

  • lol look at the chat right after the hand it goes crazy

  • Ouch the river

  • haha,

here on youtube, there are so many idiots who don't have a clue about poker but try to judge about phil ivey. That's so hilarious!

  • slowplay calling u retarded is the biggest understatement in the history of the world.

  • "he's a hack when compared to the real pros." .. yeah thats why almost every pro in the world that you consider the real pros, they will tell u that ivey is the best. and better than them. lmfao. what a clown

  • HAHAHAHAH look at this idiots comment... "Typical play for the scumbag tool Ivey." ... are you IDIOTIC.. you are bigging ivey up lol, saying typical ivey play.. that means typically he makes good calls. moron, if ur saying that was a bad kill then kill urself and never play poker again

  • lol what an idiot play.. townsend just has too much money.. he doesnt care

  • The guy that was drawing had 2+3+4+4 = 13 outs

13/46 = 28% to win (knowing his opponent had KK after show) 13/44 = 29.5%

    Not the WORST bad beat

  • ok this was a suckout win tbh, going all in before the river and hitting the right card on the deck that of saved him.

    9, 6 or a 5.

  • i think it needs a bit more to play above the average and a good run aof luck to win 5bracelets and playing a cashgame with 4000/8000blinds.

  • If your sooo good why don't you challenge Phil Ivey to his deathmatch with your life savings... im sure he'll slap you around like the idiot you are...

  • Also... i don't recall slowplay999 having 5 wsop bracelets and has been on 7 wpt final tables??? Your all talk... and just a pathetic wanna be loser

  • ur a retard.... u dont even know what ur talking about

  • r u retarded? phil had kings, n was dominating and even managed to trap townsend when he went all in... townsend got lucky n hit a straught on the turn..... u seem to diss ivey on every video? who the fuck r u?.. im not sayin he's the best pro out there.. but way better than alot of them....

  • jetmaker is another failed poker wannabe who probably lost big the one time he played Ivey.

Boeing must be very proud of him.

  • also prettty retarded

  • Its funny to see the chat after Ivey lose his hand in the river. When u all the REAL tournaments and REAL cash games that Ivey got, laugh. Pls.

  • if you think anyone had a flush draw, your monitor sucks monster cock

  • haha look at the railbird chat in the chatbox when Phil Ivey loses lol

  • he has 56 of spades! meaning he has 13 outs - 2 sixes, 3 fives, 4 fours and 4 nines

i think it was still a good play anyway

  • Brian played the hand perfectly, especially by going all in to put maximum pressure on Phil once he realized he had a big pair.

Just look at all of the hands that beat him. Pocket 3s, pocket 8s, pocket 7s, pocket 6s, or any combination of small connectors (which Brian loves to play, and you can see why here) all have Phil crushed. Ivey is still an amazing player though. Big respect to both of these guys.

  • For those of you calling him a donkey, any time you flop both a straight and a flush draw, you are in great shape against someone with an overpair. Pairing the 6 gave him even more outs.

4 fours, 4 nines, 3 sixes, 3 fives, or any club. Since some of these cards fall into the clubs category, you can't count them twice, but that leaves 7 more outs in clubs for 21 cards out of the remaining 42 cards.

  • Townsend has 56s, not 56c. A club doesn't help him.

  • holy shit that guy got so lucky. dumbest move ever made and he got paid off. what a moron.

  • Many consider him to be the best internet poker player in the world
