My school in the U.S. is doing a kabuki play so I decided to do some research and I came upon this. Very great job! I'm still trying to figure out how he moved in all of those clothes!!

Pretty rare to see a Kabuki-actor during his practive. A WONDERFUL video with a WONDERFUL performnace.

@Marionettenfan heh, thanks. Maybe I should put up the video where he puts on his makeup, telling us about every detail. I was hesitant about putting it up because he said that it's normally a personal and secretive tradition, but then again if he was willing to showcase it in front of a reasonably large group, maybe it's ok to put it online? What do you think?

if he really didn´t wanted to show it infron of a camera he may have said something or?

Like "Before I show you how to paint myself, I would like that you turn off any camera"

Or something else.
