  • that is awesome

  • will this work for a ps3 controller?

  • thats sexy as shit

  • where do u get 9mm pullet casings?

  • @mitchsnipes24 the ground at your local range, buy a box of ammo and let em burn, or if all else fails inbox me you address ill send you a couple

  • nice video:)

  • use rhino glue for this project, not gorilla glue. rhino glue will not expand.

  • I want to learn how to make the triggers on the controllers out of real pistol triggers, that would be BOSS.

  • @Intoxiqated if you open up the controller you will see that any shape or material will do this is something i want to do as well would give you an edge in an fps for sure :) all that holds the trigger is a small hold and a spring i believe

  • i used a .38 custom shell, works just fine as well and i think it's a bit better looking ;)

  • im trolling so STFU FOOL!

  • i said no ok

  • my fucking mom said on

  • what calibre are used for 9 mm???

  • I just bought the bullets buttons off eBay and also have 12gauge shell for d'pad

  • GORILLA GLUE IS THE BEST FOR EVERY THING CALL ME GHETTO BUT I THINK HALF OF MY CONTROLLER IS HALF GORILLA GLUE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • All the bullets I use are either too big or too small. Damn it. >:(

  • Yes I just finished my controller, now it's see through blastic case can glow pink with my bullet shell buttons:) & yes you can do it with ps3

  • do you do the same thing for ps3 controllers

  • can you or anyone tell me what kind of bullet to use to do the guide button i have done the abxy buttons and the d-pad but i do not know what bullet to get to do the guide button any info would be great i have tried the 300 mag and it is to small thank you

  • u said from scratch but aparently bullet shells are everyday household items.... >=[

  • @TheSuperflyingcarpet They are at my house...

  • @TheSuperflyingcarpet Are at my house..

  • you were a vet

  • Hey Tony D. Awesome idea. I know the kids in my school would love this mod !!! Just to make mention. The viewers could use an electric drill with a 3/8" or larger chuck, to work as a vise to hold the 9mm casings while they work on them. If they close the chuck lightly, but still snug, this will hold the casing while they cut, scrape glue, or polish the finished product. It beats the crap outta' cuttin' the fingers. From one vet to another, Nam 68 - 72 Thanks for your service. God bless,

    Dave

  • @Stoney327 Great idea man. Thanks. TD

  • i just figured out that 50 cal shells can be used for the thumb sticks

  • @yopirate23 i like to see a pic of that

  • @Kcsniperboy i havent actually done it.. im almost possitive of it :)

  • @yopirate23 o well 50s will only work for the big x button and it pistols (i think it will work but not sure) shot gun shells are ues for thumb sticks i made one last night

  • @Kcsniperboy 12 gauge? cause i was actually just going to use them like fps freeks xD

  • @yopirate23 yeah but its kinda hard first discharge the shel then saw the plastic outer case down the the metal so only metal remains the take out the blasting cap and there should be a wierd cardboard material left soke it in water to soften it up then use needle nose pliers to pull it all out cut off about 3 mm of the blasing cap with wire cutters thenhamer it down area your cut and crimp the thing so it looks like a cross and shape it up so it can go back into shell and the deform the shape

  • @yopirate23 on the inside so it wont fall out and stick it on you thumstick

  • @Kcsniperboy cool :D

  • @yopirate23 yeah my problem is i dont have a second shotgun shell

  • do you guys think .38 spl shells will work?

i tried to get ahold of 9mm but couldnt

  • YOU NEVER EVER USE A BLADE CUTTING TOWARDS YOU! That is just unprofessional and a hazard.

  • @arioch2004 yes you do, noob. It's common practice to cut towards the face of your thumb with blades and knives. Get a clue or shut the hell up.

  • @CaesarRex That flies in the face of all saftey regulations that are in effect for us electricians here in sweden. You certainly do not cut towards yourself or towards someone else. I have been doing this work for the last 25 years, so believe me, I do have a clue. ANd I have seen quite a few "noobs" who cut their fingers in bad situations. The back of the blade should rest on your index finger and then you have a secure and safe grip on the knife that allows you to cut cables etc.

  • @arioch2004 you are an electrician not a craftsman. Oh and I am swedish too and it is common practice and they even teach it in schools during craft class that any fine crafting or carving with matte knives, small wood working knives, exacto blades etc IS supposed to be done using the thumb as the point of impact for superior control over the blade movements. Doing smaller knife work in any other way is actually *less* safe and not recommended. Unless the one doing it is an idiot ofc

  • @CaesarRex Sure. You go ahead and do it that way if you want. As the saying goes, if the head is stupid the body will suffer. For some reason I think you are just trolling because of my comments on the other video where you replied. And if you dont think being an electrician is to be a craftmen, then you seriously need to get a clue before you answer again. I have for 25 years done electrical installations, computer builds (usually in combination), dealing with setting up server halls.

  • I already tried this a while back but i made the tabs onto the bullet, and used .357 bullets which have a cap on the they look better but they dont work properly so dont use them the cap stops it from going in

  • Where can just bullet shells be purchased?

  • @IRyyNo you buy a small pack of bullets and shoot em

  • Tony, Thanks for the vid. Just did a 40 cal shell mod on a controller and a 12 ga d-pad mod thanks to this vid. Thanks for all the great videos.

  • i tried to do this.... lest just say im gunna stick to buying not making...

  • super cool

  • will 0.44 work?

  • Gorilla glue if anyone wants to know

  • GORILLA GLUE!

  • you need to worry about not trimming the nib of your finger off too ;)

  • tried this with .38 speacial shells and works and looks awesome!!

  • Can u please make one for the Playstation 3. Thank you

  • will super glue work?

  • use jb weld instead of gorilla glue to save you from cleaning the whole thing

  • does it still work if primers are in shells?

  • Where can I buy the shells

  • Do u do these for people

  • DOes it have to be a 9mm? I have a .223 remeington

  • @vRetentionzZ The shells just has to have the same diameter as the buttons, or up to maybe 1-2 mm smaller but not bigger.

  • @vRetentionzZ

for the xyab buttons? if so yes, you might be able to use that for a thumbstick or dpad though..

  • Damn, was hoping 22. would work. Doubt I have any 9mm.

  • Man your doing this the hard way. Ive been making and selling Bullet buttons for the 360 controller for about 8 months

Send me a message and ill send you my ebay link and u can see for your self

  • great video

  • lol i made it much easier... just use tin snips to cut it then bend out peices of the bullet to fit into the groves. then fill up the inside with a peice of a wooden dowel

  • @Makzimiser me too lol!

  • wat kind of dremel was that plzz respond to me

  • What dremel model is that because I went cheapo and bought this one at Harbor Freight and it doesnt work well.

  • thanks bro

  • Comment removed

  • We have missed your vids great job very cool.

  • nice work bro but stop being so anti ps3 and do one already lol

  • They are 9mm. Look at the casings

  • Does anyone know the song at the end of the video? Idk, it might be custom made for AirbrushTricks.

  • I don't even have a gaming system but this tutorial was cool... thanks

  • This is really cool and all.. but where do i get 9mm shells in Denmark?

As far as i know, Danish laws say that its illegal to take any empty shells away from an shooting range, unless you have a special police permission... damn!

  • Oh yea great video btw and do u think u will be able to do one on the PS3 controller??

  • @jonsparrow Ha... It's real humid where I live so everything in my garage rusts...

  • @jonsparrow

    what razor blade :P

  • where do you get 9mm spent casing ????

  • @bvdesa79094 I found some on an auction website. You can get like 300 for around 10$. Some buzzwords your looking for are "unprocessed" spent brass. Processed, means the spent primers have been taken out already so there is a hole in the back.

  • OK

  • why can we see through you ! o.O

  • @C1McR green screen

  • Is this safe to cuts bullets?

  • @bchow398 it is used bullet casings smart ass.

  • @MrMetalfor666 Actually I was just asking a legitimate question about this subject because I don't know all of the details. Dumbass

  • @bchow398 yea.

  • @bchow398 No, don't try this with live rounds... These are spent rounds or casings.

  • @AirbrushTricks I don't really know a whole lot about ammo. I just think a bullet is a bullet and that's it. So there is a actually a bullet and then it is housed by a casing. So what you want to do is get 9mm Bullets that have already been fired. The casing is the part that is left over. The casing is the part that you want to use. It will be safe to cut because it is no longer a live round.

  • you can just buy the empty shells that are used for reloading

  • @ayurgal Yes, just make sure you know what your getting. New empty casings don't come with primers. And the ones that do you don't want because you don't want live primers in buttons. Just not a good idea.

  • did u say 9mm

  • @DCPaintballa71 Yes, the reason 9mm is key is because it's the exact correct size for the hole in the controller.

  • @DCPaintballa71 Yes, for the 360 controllers you need 9mm.

  • alguien tiene de estos casquillos

  • Why didn't you cut tabs on the shells. Works fine in mine. Takes mutilating the original buttons out of the way.

  • @Abaddon16cmz I think this way is a little cleaner but you can definitely do this same thing using the trick your talking about...

  • Can you do it to a ps3 remote?

  • @ReggaetonKING100 Yes but the measurements may be a little different. I haven't tried that yet...

  • want more videos like this one :)

    thanks

  • will this work with 5.56 shells?

  • @MYEYESONECONOMY No, they are the wrong size. They would be too loose in the holes.

  • @AirbrushTricks too bad, i've got a ton of them laying around :P

  • You just lowered the value of the buttons !

  • @Jack0674 Ha, i don't think so... It's still easier to just buy the buttons, but this is a fun project if you like doing things like this for yourself.

  • @AirbrushTricks But for someone who shoots a lot, they will have a lot of empty bullet cases, and all they will need is glue and buttons ! :P

  • @Jack0674 ?

  • Love it!

  • You want to use gorilla glue because, being a PU based glue, it will expand and create a seal, and it will not allow for any free play in the mount. And its way strong! You can be sure that those buttons will not come apart without a lot of work and even more swearing!

  • GORILLA GLUE!

  • @yofluffyo Yup, i just can't say that in the video because of trademark issues...

  • @AirbrushTricks Ah, that makes sense. Would epoxy work as an alternative?

  • how can some1 in the uk do this cuz were not allowed to keep guns

  • @Damage9i05 yes we are but just not handguns.

  • @Damage9i05 You are, you just need a license, but you need a reason for the license besides self defence. Eg. Hunting

  • @Damage9i05 u dont need the gun all you need is the case

  • @Damage9i05 Well, Carl Sagan might have said it thus: If you wish to have bullet buttons, you must first elect representatives who will restore your rights.

  • @nominalvelocity true true

  • @nominalvelocity That is a very true statement my friend!

  • Great video by the way. For those that want to do this but dont have the 9mm shells go hit up a shooting range Im sure you can find someone to give up four brass shells if not you can find alot of non brass ones.

  • @russ25052 Definitely.. they'll probably think your strange but that's normal for me...LOL. Spent casings are not very valuable, but they can be recycled for a little bit of money. That's why you should just offer a few bucks and they would be all about it.

  • thanks for the sick idea, gottta try it.

  • Why use gorilla glue and not epoxy or ca glue?

  • @russ25052 Gorilla glue expands and bonds to metal. You can definitely use other types of glue. I just like Gorilla glue for stuff like this. It's bombproof and awesome...

  • @AirbrushTricks twss x4

    fucker

  • you think it'll work for ps3??

  • @hellcooker fuck ps3 XboX FTW

  • @hellcooker Yes

  • @AirbrushTricks do you know what calibre bullet will a ps3 controller need?

  • i got really nervous when you started using the razor lol

  • Good video man you help me alot :D

  • might have to give this ago, but ill be using a different glue... thanks for sharing

  • Gorilla glue?

  • @SupermanCarter13 Yup...
