  • a language that ALL could understanf and speak would have to be a psychic language, not everyone can produce sound...

  • I like the way you bring such an easy, conversational style to your videos. It is quite an art to pass on ideas so eloquently without sounding 'preachy' or patronizing. Good to spend time in your company this way - cheers!

  • don't be jealous, just learn a new language. Have u read eckhart tolle?

"power of now". Traveling helps in helping me look at the big picture, were all stuck in a bubble.

  • How does it feel lliving in a society that trivializes and completely discounts so many of your concerns and interests? Just asking.

  • Why so dark? Not trying to hide the new haircut I hope. Shave it bald and it will look awesome.!

  • linguistics, indo-european, guns, germs and steel, jared diamond, symbolic interactionism, kleptocracy, surplus, specialization

  • When I heard earth language the first thing that came to mind was mathematics. Though, I find that the languages with letters are easier to understand rather than with symbols.

  • TRY ROSSETTA STONE...

  • What do you think of Esperanto as the Earth language?

It doesn't look as a good one for philosophy, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, I will try to improve my English rather than study fourth language.

  • i am the light...

    i am the shadow...

my brain is not well educated..

and the light has no brain...

    energy is the shadow...

    only counciousness/light.remains...

  • we are one...

    there we are...one.

  • Hey Matt - ya, in any language, trying to say we know what we're doing with this urge to influence, secure & control a better human future, is perhaps a presently personified dissatisfaction of sorts - a desire for change... a socially motivating challenge, for those so engaged.

  • Living in a "foreign" country and speaking two languages "constantly" has taught me a lot about how little we often understand each other, even (especially) when we use only our mother tongue. The assumption that we both understand a sentence, or even a word, in the same way is blown wide open. Also, don't fail to travel, especially to India and Africa (at LEAST to a couple of "third world" countries) to round out your earthly citizenship.

    Diversity trumps universality in culture.

    Viva la diff-

  • Yeah i've noticed these things as well being bilingual. How words have different meanings for everybody, especially people from outside the certain area.

  • Language can be compared to culture. xD

If you compared them to each other, they only seem to differ in style, never in substance.

There is already a global language. Body language.

You can tell a joke with gestures. You can also present drama. It's not just practical e.g. transmitting heavy / lite moods to others.

IMO the only time you get an esoteric subject with body language, is when vocal language had something to do with it first. Confusion.
