John, good on you for the Shillelagh's! I make them just long enough so I can use them as a bit of a support if needed albeit a bit on the short side. By doing this I avoid walking down the road/street with a "club" in my hand which might arouse suspicion much like an unsheathed Bowie knife would.

The other thing I do with mine is fit one of Lee Valley Tools Ice point

That kid is overzealous and I'd appreciate it if he would just let John do his demo without the kid flicking the shit every which way while John is trying to explain something. If the instructor needs me to assist in a demo...we run it 1/4 speed and only on command. This was just annoying a fuck to watch John deal with it.
