God...this game. I was two years old when it came out but I never played it until I was four. Me and my brothers played a lot of it, along with Streets of Rage 2 and Mortal Kombat. I played Sonic the Hedgehog 2 more than anything though. I've been playing games since then too.
It's interesting. I played and loved this game as a kid. Today, not so sure. Kind of sad how the media can alter our perspective even on gaming. To be fair, though, now a days I don't have the kind of time to be making decisions on all the games out there, let alone play them. My point is, basically, when I was a kid I had all the free time to play any game out there. Even the ones that were so bad they were good. This game, however, was awesome!
NO EFFING WAY. I HAVENT PLAYED THIS GAME IN OVER 10 YEARS. o mai gawd i just nostalgia'd soooo damn hard. i played this on computer in germany many many years ago. holy FFFFUUUU. im gonna go find this game and go play now.
That was great. I appreciate that you kept us company throughout your playtime instead of leaving us to guess at what was going on. The promo info was nice of you too! I can't wait to watch the others!
when I was a little kid, I was pro at this game. I played on hard and got all the bonuses and everything. I probably suck at it on easy now since I haven't played it in years. =P I need to get a rom for this until I dig my genesis out of storage.
Oh, and if somebody could somehow find the music to the bonus level, I would be truly grateful. (And I mean the Genesis version, not the Amiga version.)

Is it possible to reminisce about a childhood game such as 'cool spot' and become engrossed in the game and its music to take you back... without having someone give commentary???
I find that the commentary enhances the experience as you watch, or rather hear, someone's experiences in the game.
Commentary isn't for everyone, though. If you really wanted to just...Get into the game with out commentary, I'd suggest just taking out the game and playing it. That's always fun.

i used to love this game

The reason why they called it the uncola is because it doesn't have any caffeine in it. But you probably knew that already.

I know this video is old... but oh well. I remember this game when my brother rented it a long time ago. It made me want to drink 7up.
However, I just don't like it that much. I've always like Mountain Dew and Sprite, but not 7up. It's fine, but... meh.

Did you know that the red spot on 7UP is based off the creator who was albino.

Audio sounds fine; did you adjust the recording video on camstia or with your PC master volume?

I had to mute the "Stereo Mix" option on my computer's volume controls. The sounds of the game came from my compy's speakers and were picked up by the mic.
