@1011Saint actually Maria was first intro'd in assassins creed bloodlines. She started out as a Templar until Altair captured her to find the apple of Eden. When Altair retired he married Maria and went to see the world with her. They lived a long life and peacefully died together in Rome. This was all in acbloodlines for psp.

y think that in the game after assassin's creed brotherhood you will play with demond finaly in his time and the final boss in that game could be Dr. Warren Vidic.

it also can be a multiplayer game with custom assassins and upgrading levels or something like that.( it's only my opinion)

@MinusRaincloud - One of the many things I did not like about AC1, is that Altair had no background. No character. You may even say he, that though in scenes he did demonstrate some, that he did not demonstrate much personality either. Altair had no depth to his character. We stay with Ezio a full, if I am correct, 30 whole years of his life, and it adds depth to who he is. It makes you grow to LIKE him.

What we love about Assassin's Creed, traveling around the city by buildings. What we hate about Assassin's Creed, traveling to cities by horses. Its so damn boring.

@xlr8man165 - Do not worry. There was no offense taken. Though, many have the opposite opinion in that respect - in fact, a lot of critics took ill regard with Altair's voice acting. And fair enough too, Ezio actually sounds Italian. I prefer not to be blunt, but don't you think Altair sounded a bit too American for a Middle-Eastern Crusade setting? Just a thought, friend. It definitely was not anything near as bad as some of the critics said, I am sure!

I'm pretty sure his American accent, and the fact that they were even speaking English at all, was attributed to the Animus machine in the game. I believe one of the scientists said something about having the machine alter the dialog in this manner in order for Desmond to understand what's happening more easily... As opposed to him actually having to learn the languages and different dialects, through the bleeding effect which would've made the process too tedious.

It of course depends on the type of assassin in what countries and what time - The Social assassins is popular in both ancient rome and the renaissance... Think for example of poison murders and the like, they weren't committed by non-social loners. Altair also spend his entire life in a monastery devoted to assassination. His social skills hardly can be good ^^

well i dont really see how a WWII setting would work for assassins creed. Imean thered obviously have to be guns involved and i dont see how that would work with AC style gameplay. and yes i kno u have a gun in AC 2, but your the only one who does and its a single shot pistol, not a semi-auto rife or smg

actually, Altair died in the water because of a bug in the animus. in AC2's instruction manual, a note that Desmond left to the scientist is show saying ''please make it so that my ancestor can swim this time', or something, i don't remember the exact wording.
