Excellent, you capture the essence, many fail to experience in our modern times. I love the quote a writer/artist can transcend classes... but can't help wish it was simple to fish freely when/where you liked, rather than being priviliged/charged. Maybe then angling could be enjoyed by more and have a better protected future. I also think you missed quoting your fello american Thoreau explaining why you fish with "Many men go fishing all their lives without knowing it is not fish they are after"
I found this gem of a film compelling in its poetry and imagery. For me, as much a meditation as it is about fly fishing, and that's its appeal. James Prosek's thoughtful writing and empathetic narration is one pillar of the film; the other is Peter Franchella's painterly cinematography (if over-saturated - even for me!). Marvellous in every respect - many thanks indeed for uploading. Best wishes, Anthony
Wow. I recently realized that fishing helps me to reach my own "zen" state. I love that it is a universal feeling. Fishing seems to be all about living in the moment. Beautiful film.
Dreaming about the complete Angler, Flyfishing is so amazing, and a philosophy, be a part of the nature .

DO NOT use corn to fish. It kills the fish - blocks there intestinal track. Seriously, I know from experience. Great Video though. Thanks.

Great video, but, my god, does it need a different score... or maybe no score at all. It's a bit heavy handed and unnecessary.

i think you're going a bit far with the whole 'english noblemen' thing - that stuff died out in the first half of the 20th century..

How did you upload a 47 min video? I thought that it is only possible to upload 10 mins max.

People like Izaak Walton, is no longer among us! That is a shame. Cause, it was men like him, who gave life a deeper meaning!
Greetings from Denmark !
