Very delicate and touching. The sentiment stirred up in this combination of images and the lyrics and music in Stereolab's "Whisper Pitch" remind me of the lives the women lead in "Fahrenheit 451"- either the film or novel. Check it out peeps if that intrigues you and you aren't familiar with it.

yeah the footage is called Story of a Star. its a 1956 stockings video. thats why it looks so nostalgic. but great edit into the song.

The lyrics sound a lot like dialog in the movie Waking Life. It's toward the beginning of the film where a professor is talking about existentialism. He says something like: we should never write ourselves off and see ourselves as the victim of various forces. It's always our decision who we are...
