Why not? Please be specific. Automation of every task that needs to be done in the most efficient way using the least amount of resources. logical. Our factories are becoming ever more automate and as such we pay less for a car but we also lose jobs. It will get to a point where there is no need for labor jobs as everything will be automated. Allowing us to focus on design rather then manual labor manufacturing.

#2 It will get to a point where everything is free. Like air and water use to be because of supply and demand. There is some much supply it couldnt be sold. Due to poisoned water and polluted air we now have bottled water and oxygen bars. It will be attainable if science is allowed to continue to grow. Lack of funding. Funding only for war. Religions oppression all stand in the way. If the dark ages wasn't allowed to happen, we would be ten fold further then we are now. imagine that.

Ok. Let's say that my sewer gets plugged up & we don't have robots advanced enough to asess the problem & fix it.

So under the Venus Project we only do jobs that we really enjoy doing in life. So WHO is going to stick their hand in the raw sewage to unclog my drain!

No one would have fix to because a robot would do it or the sewer would be so efficient they would never get clogged or a sewer system simply wouldn't exist. Take a shit, zap it. Clean your dishes with a laser etc. No one would be forced to do a waste of time job like fix a drain or make a living doing so. The Venus Project is the outcome the is inevitable. It is going to happen. We just would be better if it happened sooner. At what point would you make technology stop?

It wouldn't take way nascar. in fact it would make it better. Free tickets, you could try out for free, you could try to build you own for free, there wouldn't be a limit on what you try to do. No limitations at all. And nascar in space going 1000 mph sounds awesome. But I understand that is a far way day and in the meantime changes need to be made. But the changes should be structured to help get us to that point. Greed is not good and should not be the goal of every human.

The problem with just planting more trees is that is only temporary. When trees die the carbon is released again. Its not destroyed. The problem is we are taking carbon from permanant storage in the ground and applying it to the atmosphere. I dont believe however that it is warming earth. It may be the cause to rising acidity levels in the ocean though, which is quite a bad problem as that will lead to death of most of the seas life. But i wont say thats for sure. Its bad if that is true.
