  • Michael Myers left Haddonfield and became Junior Brown's drummer!

  • Great tune.

  • Oh and Junior is a great performer and love his music

  • Why is Junior not bigger?

  • @domcplnc

Simple, Really! Just like George Strait and Alan Jackson sang about, "Murder on Music Row"

Not "Pop", "Top 40", or whatever else that "they" wanna pass as "Country" nowadays.

The music buying majority , unfortunately, could care less about what true crountry is about, just as long as it sounds similar to the top 40 their parents listened to.

Sad, YES! But, had to give reader digest version due to character length.

  • @OriginalBurton I grew up with country back in the 70's and have to say I never cared for it unless it was Jim Stafford or anything that was comical. I have to say that rock and hard rock have gone the way of noise as well.

There are exceptions of course but I can't think of one at the present time lol.

  • @Marathonmarch I'm right there with ya'! But we still must ask why some independents do not get Nashville support? Especially if they do "Truckin'" Music?

After all, trucking moves the country, but yet side lined?

  • @OriginalBurton "Don't really know about that since I haven't been in a band for two years

  • You see! there always country and rock`n roll!! it never dies!

  • forget the words he' s cookin it

  • Another knocked-out rendering of a tremendous Red Simpson song! That you Junior for a fine performance

  • OO I saw this guy in Santa Fe, 2009; sweet venue, awesome music. Little slice of Americana

  • I'm waiting for the drummers head to start spinning in circles......

  • great song and good guitar playing

  • Is the drummer real?

  • @DougM63 LOL!

  • Jr brown rules!!!

  • sorry to destroy your dreams dude but there are only 2 of those and guess who has both? that's right, Junior. build your own dude.

  • Well you can buy one from Stevensguitars (the guy who made both of Jr's) but they are complete custom jobs and go for about $10,500 a piece.

  • He actually has 5 of them

  • Hes playing old red!

  • the drummer rocks..lol!

  • Junior Brown is supposed to be from Texas and I hear he give a great live show too.

    WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HIM?

HE SHOULD BE A LOT BIGGER STAR THAN HE IS!

SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT THIS MULTI-TALENTED GUY IN A FILM!!!!!!

AM I GOING TO HAVE TO WRITE A SCREENPLAY FOR HIM????

  • When I play out I am always asked who my favorite guitarist is and even though hendrix and srv are my biggest influences. I would pick a junior brown show over anybody. He is simply sick, a mix between atkins and hendrix on the guitar. And he plays straight into a fender reverb amp no pedals, clean as it gets.

  • perfect!!!

    this song is cool

  • kudo's to Red, but Junior Brown does a little bit better job picking on this tune.

  • This is a good song! I love it! LOL

  • Who knows the tuning?? come on guitar players

  • Standard E

  • Actually I hear it is E 13th tuning...

  • @kcguero Many lapsteels traditionally use a C6th or 9th tuning, I vaguely recall.

  • @strandwolf The lapsteel I play, is tuned to c6th, but I recently got from the mans mouth, that it is e13th, that he is playing...8)

  • Yeah whatever, Go Junior!!He still looks like the ever familiar Colonel 'S' to me, but he can drum!!

  • OFFICIALLY "THE MAN"

  • I have always wondered how he shifted from one neck to the other, extremely energetic thanks man

  • awesome
