  • @Hazlitt57 what spirituall teachings do you ascribe to ?

  • @Hazlitt57 the reason I said what I said because I seen a documentary with him on Link Tv and he said we should destroy the idea of a dead white man in the sky he was reffering to Jesus and him and another women was talking about hoe horrible the bible was that's why I said what I said I hope you understand

  • This guy is obviously a antchrist if you can't read in between the line then you are spiritually blind

  • @therighteousone100

Perhaps the one seeing such in him is spiritually blind? I think that when I read such a comment

  • I wonder who reincarnated as Jesus or Buddha or the Gurus or Vishnu or whatever.

  • There IS a Heaven and a Hell, and a God. But they r not divided up into a bunch of different places and Gods. There is only ONE, the alpha and the omega. No matter how you serve it or practice it, it doesn't matter.

  • Hate is not the worst humans are capable of.

    It's apathy.

  • I do love what he's saying but I do not hate...Hate is and will always be the worst four letter word in the English language. Is it not because of hate that we as a human species have done some of the most inhuman acts to other humans?

  • The mystery IS too big!

  • Gotta love this dude, I too hate organized religion, and hearing his ideas and understandings help me understand what I've read too.

  • he is right

saying bad people don't go to hell is just pointing out that santa does not really exist but someone like mom or dad will still give you presents if you are a good little slave and tell you santa brought them.

  • Chopra is not 100% correct, but who is? Here is an observation - People spend a LOT of energy trying to bring down someone like Chopra with small niggling issues of little relevance, yet ignore the gigantic truths he adheres to. But when a villain comes along wearing a suit and is in power, you bend over for them and excuse them of huge gaping flaws in their character. It is very sad and a waste of time.

  • Why was i sensing some tense energy between these two? Somehow i think this guy rubbed Deepak the wrong way. Lol

  • hahah if u look at all his videos ...he says the same lines everywhere ...brainlesss drone reciting something he heard

  • @wayside333

... I agree. Chop-chop (Deepak Chopra) is a horribly boring speaker and gets in too deep. There are FAR better, far more interesting people to listen to on this topic.

  • I used to think that way, but now I've come to think he's much wiser than I held him to be and find it a delight to listen to him.

  • reeeely bad interviewer, let him talk dumbass

  • evilution is THE big lie.

  • in the deeper reality, nothing human is foriegn to me

  • THE GUY INTERVIEWING DEEPAK IS AN EFFING IDIOT!!!!

  • I think that because it is possible for life to exist it is easily possible for an afterlife to exist.

  • For all you bible thumpers, have a mind that is attached to nothing and open to everything then you will be more god like.Learn to know god instead of just hanging on to one beleif.

  • Yes depak, you are talking to a freemason who is basically asking you what they are missing out on, by lying and manipulating.

You can see the look of shock on depaks face,

while he explains that to be good is inate, it is in all of our interest.

Evan Solomon had no idea what Depak was talking about,

But i do, I call it the play instinct, children, birds, squirrels,, deer, all animals share a sense of play and if youre no fun to play with, well then maybe ill eat in ya instead!!

    Play is god

  • @Naturalhombre

    YES, absolutely!

  • Thats why we need Jesus Christ he was our perfect sacrifice he frees us from the bondage of sin, guilt, religion and guys like this. And please hear this Jesus Christ is not RELIGION! true born again believers are born of the true Spirit of love (Jesus Christ) that came from God (Gods Son)This guy is trying to compare the real Jesus Christ with the fake religious.murderers..He is in great error and if you follow his teachings you will forfeit your soul, death is a breath away, turn from this error

  • @mreloo did you here a word he said, quit clinging to these draconian ideas, there is no punishment or reward, jesus was a man he died as a man there was nothing mystical about him,he tried to teach the same as deepak, love and giving and joy,he was killed because he didnt fit the agenda of the church,to control and scare into morality with silly notions of punishments and rewarding behaviors,if you disagree with deepak ,why you here listening, you know he is about truth, not the lies you spew

  • @METALLICA6547 time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.(2Tim4:3) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 He was with God in the beginning.Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made (John1:1)

  • @mreloo once again the only thinking you have is the bible, reciting whats been writen that has no real constitution behind it,just useless scary qoutes,i will not sit and keep arguing about your ridiiculous idea of god,and bible, exsistence is so much bigger than your belief structure, you are lost in a world of lies and mazes to which for you there is no getting out of,peace

  • @METALLICA6547 Because only the word of God can set you free to be at peace. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.( Romans 5:1) This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.(1 John 1:5)

  • @METALLICA6547 Whhhoohh there. Deepak did not say there was no punishment... quite the contrary... he pointed out that the crime becomes its own punishment... as in What the mind sows, it also reaps. "God" / Pure divine Consciousness is not some "judgmental" punishing Deity ... Our own mind experiences the karma it creates. Have compassion for the Bernie Madoffs .. their karma is coming at them and will be experienced at some level. This whole world is about Cause and Effect.

  • @METALLICA6547 Yes Jesus was " a man" BUT MAN is actually VERY mystical. I love what Gandhi said about Jesus... that it was too bad that the Christians were not able to grasp His True Greatness. As Chopra points out... religion hijacked Jesus, made Him very small and created their own propaganda about Him. Jesus was NOT about getting individual souls to heaven.. He WAS about revealing TRUTH Absolute. Huge difference. THE Master Awakens the finite mind to ~ I AM ~

  • What an enlightened man Deepak is..:)

  • he's so canadian. ABOOT.

  • i agree with what he says 100 precent, but i think if you are a complete prick in life, when your counsciousness leaves you will have some form of regret, or have it come back on you if you reincarnate, i mean it makes perfect sense.but if its just a dream in that sense i guess it just simply dosent matter.

  • Its sad that people dont understand region. Christians, Muslims, and Jews all have rules but none are told to kill. it is the people not the religon. People are the problem.

  • He doesn't offer a realistic perspective of the universe, only an abstract perspective. like an abstract artist except that he's using words. He's like all the great spiritual leaders of the past. They spoke in dark sayings, parables, analogies, visions, dreams, ect. I'd much rather have a realistic(scientific) perspective and explaination of reality, but hey, to the non-scientist this stuff is appealing.

  • What Deepak says makes so much sence, religion is a man made story to keep order in the world. That guy interviewing Deepak is an ignorant IDIOT! how can you stand by religion when someone like Deepak has most likely clicked on the truth of life? c'mon! People should actually read the Bible , kor' an etc.. and then read Deepak 's book, how can someone on this day on age believe in religion? I starting to believe its because it benefits the government.

  • christian evangelists are fucking mental!the shit they say is in the bible is nothing like the bible we were read when growing up&like deepak says its all a form of control!

  • But what about animals? Do they have a soul?

Or bugs? :S They don't even have a brain, what about them?

  • @TheEastflowers -buddhists believe they have&why not,if you'v had a pet dog for instance, you would swear the dog had as much a conscience&soul as we have!i believe they have anyway!so what makes any little animals any different!think about the way ants for instance work, they fight to protect a queen, they help each other&they seem to have a group intuition,so if they are that advanced why wouldn't they have a soul?

  • @Bdiddly1 I see your point there, but what about jelly-fishs? They don't a brain either :-/

  • If you listen properly to Deepak you would find the answer to your question, we are the animals and the insects, every time you look at them its the universe looking at its own reflection. We are all connected.

  • Compassion and love will prevail.

  • I do with He would give some credit to HInduism, the religion that he grew up in. I am listening to his words on religion & I am a Hindu & nothing really surprises me about what he says. This is basially what Hinduism says.

I would have been harsher on this punishment stuff - that's what they are doing now in some muslim countries - cut off hands, stone people to death - come on do we really think God does that? That's primitive & backward.

  • @ramaraksha01 Oh very much primitive, it's very sad really that a lot of people are still in that kind of mindset.

  • @ramaraksha01 -i have read the baghavatghita(sorry for the spelling)the hare Krishna book&a lot of what he says is in that, although i think that's based on Hinduism anyway, isnt it?

  • @Bdiddly1 Yes a lot of what Deepak says resonates with HIndus, we grow up with this stuff.

Not to beat my own drum, i would love it if u visited my site & let me know what u think of some of my videos. Especially - Hindus are the chosen people - let me know what u think

  • @ramaraksha01 -your totally right mate!im from Scotland & i respect you hindu's,u look quite cool i think&your religion has quite cool views in it too!i am gonna read a bit about your religion, not to become a hindu but i remember seeing a story about what you folk believe!&its interesting to me!

  • Deepac is not a Hindu! HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN RELIGION! why dont you watch the video again and listen properly instead of jumping to conclusions.

  • @shaisgingell -why dont tu chupar mi pollo-tu gibbo conyo!

  • @shaisgingell Have u seen some of his books? Just look at some titles if u go to his website. There are at least 2 books titled with Jesus, 1 mohammed, 1 Buddha - yeah this guy doesn't believe in religion but is quite good at making money off of it. He talks well but he is beginning to disappoint me - looks like all he cares about is money.

  • I guess he wants to be fair & said that stuff about Hindus, but just because some people who happen to belong to a certain religion do bad things, that doesn't mean that the religion is at fault. Does that mean christianity is to blame for slavery, racism & colonial exploitation? Will he dare say islam is responsible for terrorism? Catholocism is a pedophile religion?

Hinduims is a tolerant religion - he feels safe to mock Hinduism.

  • i wanna slap this interviewer, he's freakin stupid

  • @trakomako more like jesus will go on his knees in front of me

  • Deepak you rock!! ya very smart and spiritual man!! thank you for sharing your wisdom witht the world!!

  • I believe he has the point: the institution of religions are exploiting our fear of finality; we do terrible things to each others in the name of religions so that we may be live "forever" in "Heaven". Death is Finality, everything will die. Period.

  • Thank you for sharing Deepack Chopra.

  • @trakomako whatever

  • @morazmarz - you may want to check what Swami Satchidananda has to say about death...there is a video on youtube where he speaks about death.

  • The interviewer asked some good and tough questions. Deepak did not answer one question...not one.

  • So what he basically says is:

All organized religions are bad but please buy my quasi-religious book because that is not bad.

  • @StateofMotion81, Ireland is always the first port of call for any conn man,,,,,,,,, they get a full house every show with very dim gullible fuckers who usually see 'visions' of the virgin mary on the way to the bank !

stupid fuckers couldnt even grasp simple agriculture,, come on,, how hard is it to grow potatoes for fuck sake

  • deepeck you must study religion once again and absorb it. Only people like you who don't absorb go take violence and kill people

  • @sjdhn well I see the KKK killing many people in American and they believe in Jesus so much and they Christian plus they kill gays, black people, chinese, indian and other people.

  • I don't like to be afraid of God I love God, God is inside of me, there's a phrase that said

Do not be afraid if you do not own to anybody and thank God I do not own to nobody.

God is everywhere inside and outside of me.

    Ana nasha

  • what he says about religion is ohhhh soooo true this man is brill

  • jeez. he really said it perfect. THE MYSTERY IS TOO BIG. Thank you.

  • this is all wishful thinking, nobody want to die, pplz want to live forever, but too bad worms will eat you when you die lol ahaha

  • Our common bond is freedom. Freedom of Religion. Leave people alone.

  • @youraminp DOUBLE LOL rastafari is the way Jah is the way

  • The only way Is the Lord Jesus,,

    you Godless people ,,REPENT,,

you make mony with your mambo jambo,,REPENT,,

  • Crime itself is it's own punishment.

  • 1:34 the interviewer looks soo uncomfortable like his religious beliefs were just crushed.

  • Indians suck

  • Organized religion is complete BULLSHIT. I've said that for years. It's all about power and money.

  • The interviewer hasn't a clue what's going on...

  • this guy fuckin crazy

  • This is a good video! I enjoy listening to this. I spent many years looking into many other areas - ancient history, philosophy, esoteric traditions, theology, and psychics/channelers. Their message is all the same! Only nowadays are the esoteric traditions having their secrets make it to the public and channelers bringing forth messages of enlightenment. The occult and their esoteric traditions have always had these beliefs and were always ahead of science. Only recently has it been catching up

  • yes the interviewer is not letting him speak,,,,,dump ass

  • They keep interrrupting each other so much that neither person makes a coherent point, and Deepak doesn't manage to state his position with clarity. Really annoying interview,

  • Deepak is just another spiritual salesman selling shotty goods in the spiritual and faith market.

If truth went out that there is no after life, heaven or hell These guys could no longer sell their lies or products to the public. They will go bankrupt.

  • It's interesting that he said we're probably all ignorant. He should know. Making millions off of vulnerable and credulous people. He capitalizes on the same ignorance that religion capitalizes on. Knowledge outside of the scientific method is basically useless except as consolation. The path is harder but more rewarding (IMO) for those who choose the search for truth over immediate comfort.

  • ........they just happen to be vegetarians" hillarious...

  • I think his words are perfect. The end, when he says, "In the spirit of tolerance were probably all kinda of totally ignorant because the mystery is too big." So true. None of us truly know anything, just trying to make it through this thing called life. And I find it funny that they say, "if you think Chopra is being hard on religion." Give me a break, how many religions have the Christians, Muslims, and Jews attacked and been hard on just for being different?Compassion is all that is needed.

  • @dancesonpoles -well said!religion is organised to keep the masses under control!like god police&i am no different,i am always questioning my beliefs, but so far the hare krishnas view on life(a bit like this)is the one that seems to make logical sense!

  • @dancesonpoles It is people that dont understand religon that cause "religous wars"

  • 2 young girls came to my door on Sunday morning. They were J-Witnesses. The one girl did all the talking, and eventually asked me if I thought I was going to heaven. I said my spirit will carry on in one form or another. Then she asked if I believe in Jesus. I said sure. She then told me I can go to heaven! Great..I was getting worried for a minute there. Thanks sweetie....

  • Fun FACT: He's Talking About Himself... Selfish Bastard XP

  • chopra gets a lot of flak, but he's an interesting blerk, whether you agree or not.

  • Deepackin chopper rules!

  • It feels joyful to align yourself with the evolutionary impulse of the universe, as long as its includes making lots of money.

  • "I'm not taking on anybody."

  • Epic Fail!

  • SO SO TRUE WELL SAID

  • I do love the scientific terms used to try and explain what Scientists are not at all 100% sure about. On the other hand we have all the religions speaking about immortality but we've gotta follow their "truth" otherwise we're going to experience the eternal death. Between Religion & Science I chose Freedom so none of them can brainwash me again. Yes we are immortals because I can't believe in randoms yet our souls haven't anything to do with Churches nor Labs.

  • Deepok...so humble. And there's power in that. People just don't know. When you're humble, you're in tune with yourself. I can relate to Deepok. Deepok...I love what you do.

  • @mkufl2gd maybe you should learn how to spell his name then

  • While I like Mr. Chopra's philosophy/spiritualism and am trying to learn more about it, I urge people to never follow anything blindly. Always keep questioning. Take what he says into mind, but don't form you opinion strictly from his view.

  • lol the 2nd jesus was hijacked

  • The interviewer is a complete twat

  • It's hard to believe that 'evolutionary impulses' are the cause for us to be 'good'. I've studied Ethics and Social behavior at university, there is no definitive answer. And no answer would be harmonious with Chopra's view on life after death, outer realm stuff.

He doesn't believe in some form of God, yet believes in some spiritual world. I'll agree with Richard Dawkins that Deepak's poetic talents often confuse the subject matter. I honestly don't know what this guy believes in. Confusing.

  • Richard Dawkins, to me, is something pretty disgusting. I mean I've read some of his book the God Delusion. And boy, I dont believe in god figures either but Dawkins can't do anything but mock christianity like a little child.

  • Right on! I agree 100%.

  • Well, yes. You went to a western university, I presume, and learned western philosophy regarding ethics and social behaviour, where definitive answers of any variety are considered heresy, so to speak. Absolute relativism! The east has a wholly different approach to such matters (I refer to the descendants of the Vedic traditions), which is exquisitely subtle, and requires much time and effort to comprehend. It's very worth it to investigate however, and Chopra urges ppl toward this, I think.

  • I find it interesting how spiritualism is becoming more popular in the Western world. The most interesting part is how the West interprets many practices that are rooted in Eastern Religions (e.g Buddhism, Yoga, Taoism etc.) - removing any form of diety, just adopt the philosophy, sayings and a few rituals.

What Deepak is doing is adapting all of this for the Western market. His teaching is very much similar to the New Age. I think you can appropriately categorize him under that.

  • the propose is to become love.

  • Most of the crimes are committed by Christian and Muslim.

  • i'm going for a poo!

  • Simple minded people...what a shame.. the world is full of them. it's up to you and only you!!!!!!!!!

  • Its not Deepack Chopera. Its Deepak CHopra.

  • I don't think he provided a satisfactory response to the moral question "what's stopping a rapist or a murderer, if he's going to the same place as everyone else?" . .. I mean really, if there's no moral system, we can act however we want, if Hitler felt good killing the Jews, then what's stopping another one like him? he said "the crime is the punishment" , . .. well there are loads of people who love to commit crime, is the dream going to continue for them too, I dunno . ..

  • good point. Chopra is a fraud.

  • yes and his philosophy is deeply flawed

  • You and so call God is a fucking fraud.

  • I can't make out if that's wishful thinking or frustration, but what it is, is juvenile banter of a mediocre mind

  • What was the reason that Hitler killed over 6 millions jews for? Did you know that crusades have invaded just every countries on this planet and in process they have killed at least 100,000,000 people worldwid, what do you think about that idiot?

And why do you think that Christian,Muslim and Jews hated one another and keep on killing one another for thousand of yrs?

  • Ignorance, bigotry and delusion, .. . but that has hardly anything to do with the point I was making

  • What is it that is not true? Are you a Christian or a Muslim?

  • well... true... this sort of point of view doesn't create any eternal after life threat to scare a rapist... what can you do

  • this sort of point of view doesn't do anything except beguile you into thinking that everyone is free after death, so what you CAN do is search for the truth on your own

  • Guess what happen to a rapist or serial killers that have been caught?

All I can tell you is this just read more about life after dealth and karma and reincarnation and Buddhism to know actually what Mr. Deepak Chopra is talking about.

  • I know according to Himduism, what happens to a rapist... they are born in a lower form of an animal... I don't know what Buddhists believe. But Deepak Chopra doens't believe this... He thinks we become part of the consciousness. Does any1 know what he means when he says consciousness or is it just a scientist's word for God?

  • @galanoth17 I think after they died they can be born as a rape victim themself or any kind of life forms & so on same with Buddhism. Consciousness is base on scientist not God. Also Buddhism does not believe in GOD but I think Hindo does I man be wrong.

Some say Buddhism is more like scient and religion combine because it can be proven by using new scient, others religions is base on some god that we don't know if that so call god if ever exist in the first place. What is GOD mean to you?

  • @oneviwatara listen to Michael Newton on utube life between life. U will get explanation for what happens to rapists

  • Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream,

    Merrily, merrily,...... merrily, merrily

Life is but a dream ?

  • this is the person that has influeced the most my way of think ever

  • I like Deepak. Down to earth common sense kind of guy. We're here to suffer some so that we can learn and grow. We know when water is hot and cold...don't mess with hot or you'll get burned. Simple logic. I've learned to be humble and there is power in that. You don't have to be an intellectual. I believe in God the Creater. That's why we're here.

  • I fuckin love this man

  • @TheImmigrantsong

Robert Anton Wilson is much like him. look him up hes cool as fuck.

  • This man tells it how it is, I like. As a species, we are still in our infancy. Very sad indeed.

  • Whoever is interviewing Deepak is a fucking idiot.

  • I sooo agree with you. He's a dick reporter from CBC. I hate the fucking idiot.

  • @dannyvsscience Oh my gosh. I know. He's so condescending at times.

  • @dannyvsscience lol.

  • @dannyvsscience the interviewer has no respect, idiot.

  • @dannyvsscience unfortunately there are many like him ,so we must continue

to spread positive energy and hope it rubs off.

have a happy existence and tranquility to you all.

  • @dannyvsscience According to Deepak that would be you, experiencing yourself lol

  • @dannyvsscience - I could not agree with you more.

  • the idea is to be, and feel the joy of experiencing, understanding, learning, knowing, sharing, feeling good, playing, laughing and growing. and we all help each other do that. it could not all come from one place, and it happens naturally. its an incentive unto itself, no rules needed. what else is there to do? forget religion...biggest distraction to creativity in human history. it ignores our simultaneous interconnectivity and replaces that actual interdependent reality with a hierarchy.

  • @HuckleberrySlim a separatist isolating hierarchy at that

  • Comment removed

  • Deepak Chopra is great. He is very wise and can quote anything to back him up. And to the comment below this: Christianity isn't too bad if followed correctly and not in a hypocritical way such as in the west. If you understand the great spiritual meaining behind Jesus's teachings they are perfect. But yes "religion" is flawed because it is made by "MAN" not God himself. Jesus's "Desciples" wrote the bible not Jesus himself.

  • Religions are mass manipulators, always tell you about fear, punishment and hell, this is sick

  • @edithosan Espcially the islam which praises violence against non muslims.

  • @edithosan

If they all were honest S/M diggers, instead of projecting plague at others, what a wonderful world we could achived.

  • @edithosan

religion always tell you to fear from God. when you are afraid of God you are not afraid of anything in the world.

  • he is madarchod

  • hes a wise man he knows the truth . for as he does not have the answers for there is no answers. people are afraid of the unknown and the reality of the dream of life .

  • humans don't need any religion, humans only need trust in self, in inner self not some kind of external forces!

  • People are like dogs - they need order and a purpose - this is the only reason religions were ever created.

  • fuck off christianity is about love im not talkin about churuches because ya they doesnt do what jesus said but islam is chaos yeah i agree

  • He's right. Very well said. 5 stars.

  • Oh yeah and blonde hair

  • Great stuff,

I liked the way he was describing "western Jesus"

because he's absolutely right ,white skin, blue eyes hahahaha...i I always thought the same thing..

  • This hypocritical bastard first steals all his ideas from Hinduism and then insults them that are violent. Not once have I seen this bastard give any credit to his father's religion and even more condemns it. Deepak you are a learned yet pathetic son of a bitch.

  • You know what you are absolutely right but I wont support it with these choice of words. I undersatnd your, anger is like mine but had poor words choice...

Yes I have read Deepak's few books and he steals all the info from Hinduism vedas, bhagavad Gita and purans and mixes is it with complicated english word to sell it out to western words... I mean as an Indian you really dont need to read his books because if you have read/listened the Indian theology, you already know what Deepak is telling.

  • continue............ i mean he is not telling anything new to me... I guess he needs to respect and honor from where he comes and from where he leanred all these basic thing he is selling. But you know sometime people loose their original purpose when they get rich or etcc.. I guess religions are not bad but bad are the people who twist them and he should first try to correct/help this by all the means before blaming others...

  • continue... I thought he shud be knowing this with all the wisdom he got...or may be how he can make money in western world...!

  • I find it scarry and funny that:

    1. People get so uptight about cancer and other ailments when simple life changes can make a difference.

    2. People "follow the leader" no matter if it is in their individual best interest or not.

  • The church has been scaring people for thousands of years. Kudos to Deepak for searching for a better "anwswer"

  • Great information in such a short amount of time.

  • To note, Chopra's way of thought hardly makes one unafraid of death. In fact, religious doctrine does a better job at this, provided its beliefs are based on a benevolent deity.

But rarely will a person find comfort in a 'continuum' of birth and rebirth 'cause if we're reborn after death, we will not remember our past life. No awareness in one's cycle of reincarnation is equal to dying without life after death.

The only 'truth' is that there is no truth, and no need to search for one.
