Erin's right about Simon Cowell, his opinions & criticisms are absolutely spot on & no matter how harsh or candid he may seem, it's HIS remarks which the contestants value & respect the most; a few kind, patronising words from the other judges become worthless if Simon thinks the performer's no good. His intuition & perceptions are worth more than the remaining judges collectively, if he's impressed then it really counts. I used to loathe him but totally respect his honesty & judgment now.
