  • DOW 2 is actually the best Real Time Strategy available. In case people want to play the game for totally free, you can easily get that whole video game over at DOW2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ). I tried it, and I want to say to you the 1st player campaign is actually outstanding!

  • @ThePrimo01 If you mean Campaign and only Campaign was good, then I agree, you think DOWII Multiplayer was best part of it? all I can say is:"WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"

Now, for multiplayer, the other DOW games were best.

  • @ThePrimo01 this is not even STRATEGY game (in fact, it's more like real time tactics)

  • Tau's theme makes me think of ninjas. :3

  • FOR THE GREATER GOOD

  • in my opinion the tau dont need new stuff coz they r awesome anyway. i have 5400 pts of tau (rounded) they kickass. tau r superior, ethereals are shit but yeah! for the greater good and chaos!(i collect chaos too)

  • tau are really powerful because there masters of ranged try and close in and they just cut you down

  • close in? you mean melee combat? if you mean that you are an idiot

  • they need to bring out some new stuff to buy for tau

  • "FOR THE GREATER GOOD!"

  • burn these xenos for the emperor and the blood ravens chapter

  • Hell yeah Tau kicking but from all over

  • for.....CHAAAAAAAOS!

*cough* ahem, I mean, greater good...yeah....

  • FOR THE GREATER GOOD

  • Da Waaaaagh will kill these tau in close combat..... that is if we can get close lol :(

  • m8 your nobz would never get close to the tau you would get pwnd in the first second. thats if you havent got a ork stompa

  • Hail the Greater Good....

  • Tau, it's the best race ever. I began constructing an army a long ago, and now I have four squadrons of Fire Warriors, a Commander, an a Hammerhead. You chose the right race to make a tribute 2 dude.

  • Thanks, Tau are pretty awesome aren't they

    :D

  • yh they sweet

  • yhey r amazing!

  • Tau, it's the best race ever. I began constructing an army a long ago, and now I have two squadrons of Fire Warriors, a Commander, an a Hammerhead. I still have to paint the Hammerhead though. Anyways you chose the right race to made a tribute bro.

  • Thanks, glad you like it, Tau are pretty cool!

Good luck with finishing your army :)

  • yeah i'll need it lol

  • haha, can't be that bad, can it?

    lol

  • Boring!

  • Don't comment if you don't like it.

  • I agree, I love it, I love the tau empire alot! And I started off with some battlesuits now I will be trying to make it bigger

  • Awesome, maybe get a couple of fire warrior squads backed up with a few tanks. Great combination :)

  • Yeah, and maybe a few XV88 broadside battlesuits (a squad) could do too!

  • Ever play Warhammer 40k: Fire Warrior?

  • Not played it yet, looks good tho,

    what about you?

  • Yeah, it was alright. I would reccomend at least checking it out. You start as Kais of the Tau fire caste (Shas'O Kais from Dawn of War Dark Crusade) back when he was just a pathetic little Shas'la. He works his way up to higher ranks and takes on Imperial Guardsmen, Space Marines, and Heretics all in that order. There are a few inaccuracies, though (e.g. Imperial Guardsmen explode when hit by a boltgun). It was still enjoyable, plus it had online play, too.

  • haha, watching guardsmen explode is funny. But anyway I don't realy like first person style games. I prefer Dawn Of War. You played that? Tau in there are pretty kwl.

  • Yeah, I've played Dawn of War. All of them except Soulstorm. I heard that one sucks. I plan on getting Dawn of War 2 when it comes out, as well.

  • I only just got soulstorm at the weekend. Only played one mission. Seems ok so far. I don't like the idea of a DOW 2. Why don't they just finish explanding the origional like they are doing and be done with it.

  • It's because it finishes the story of Captain Gabriel Angelos. While the rest of the games were merely expansions and branches off the original, the next one will be an actual sequel.

  • hmmm why didn't they just do it to begin with. Not that it's confusing or anything but it would have been simpler.

  • I've come up with two conclusions:

1)They didn't have the time, money, or resources.

2)Instead of just making another sequel, they decided to make more money by throwing in little expansion packs here and there. I mean, what'll make more money? A single sequel that you can charge for the same price as a regular game, or a bunch of expansion packs that you can charge for the same price as a regular game?

  • Also lets not forget about the new available graphic engines that have been recently developed and played with by numberous video game companies. New tools means new toys for game designers to play with and expand on for any game, not just Warhammer 40,000.

They also changed the direction of the game, wanting to take certain elements that they did not like and focus on the elements that they believed players enjoyed while adding in more material.

Sometimes you just need to make a sequel.

  • Tau are my kind of Alien people ya dig?

  • Yep tau are pretty good. Do you collect them?
