@tracytcb111111111111 Don't have any access to, but one of his best was "The Human Comedy," with Mickey Rooney from 1943. The original author was William Saroyan. I'm sure you know of it! Thanks again for your message.
@varadero1839 thats ok its based on a true story great movie my freinds laugh at me cos i love the old movies and all the old actors hope u find it and enjoy it
So nice... Mr. Morgan is perfect as an authentic Saint Francis of Assisi's disciple! And how moving seeing the way the dogs pay attention to his predication. Many thanks for sharing this scene, John!
This is very moving for me, as a recent convert to Catholicism,, and a long-time admirer of St. Francis, having visited Assisi severak times. Frank Morgan deserved a supporting Oscar for this. May peace be with us all.
Amen to that! One of the best actors in Hollywood, and many only know him from "The Wizard of Oz!" His career spanned many decades, and I feel that in this one scene, his genius as an actor is admirably showcased. Thanks again for your kind notice!
Thanks so much! His talent was really kind of otherworldly. Did you ever see him in Saroyan's "The Human Comedy?" He pretty much steals the entire movie!
You're not going to believe this- I just left the house that Frank Morgan built in Rancho Mirage in the 20's. It's a wonderful adobe and my best friend here in the desert restored it beautifully. He used to own the house next door and bought it when the woman who owned it died. I'm over there at least once a week or more. I helped with the restoration and designed the nes garage. It's an historical landmark for the City of Rancho Mirage. The gardens are extensive. I'll look around for pics.
This is fantastic! Any chance you could upload the entire movie in separate parts?
