Good job, man! I'm building some apliance like this, it isn't piano, it is LCD (with HD44780 controller) which is connected to pc keyboard by an ATMEL microcontroller. Nice. What does the delay bettween pressing a key and played note??
How is the speed? I have thought about building one myself using the keyboard from a worn out organ. But I have heard that the I2C communication is slower than analogue values and I would like to be able to play fast.

I2C is much faster than anything you could play.
