i just finished this game i think this is what set the stage for the difficulty of demon souls and dark souls but i love it. finally game developers make games that if you beat you feel adcomplished

When I played through again on hard mode, I had to try each level at least two to three times from the beginning just to make sure I still had enough herbs, and I still haven't beaten it again. Those who managed to beat it on the highest difficulty are gods of the gaming world, right up there with those who beat the original Legend of Zelda without a walkthrough.

@enigma4280 No. Wrong little kid. Forget NG2, I've clocked the original NG on the XBOX (Not NG Black - the 1st release) - which is much more harder than NG2. In fact, I only got killed once before I got to the last set of bosses. The thing is that, NG2 on these last stages was just so BORING and looking back on the rest of the game I found it to be annoying... so I just didn't feel like finishing it. What's the point? No point. I'm a multiplayer guy anyway. Maybe NG3 will keep me playing though.

This game was easy on every difficulty except mentor and master ninja. It sells peanuts because nowadays people only play linear games packed with cinematics that pretty much play themselves in less than 4 hours of playtime.

NG2 just got so BORING & Annoying, the game almost wasn't saying to me ''play me'' - IT WAS BORING & ANNOYING. It's just that the Boring & Annoying side of the game reached it's PEAK for me ont the final Boss. You can keep it.

I think they should make Ryu look powerful in NG 3 on the first and this it just seems as a puny human and does not show at all his speed or strength. Maybe since he has or is becoming more powerful with the sword of the fiend and somehow transforming himself into one of them something like the 1 game which wold be awesome. Maybe like a bar of fiend trigger LOL and depending on how brutal you perform your kills you gain either a big or small amount for the fiend trigger to activate thus Strength
