The flashing is just the refresh rate on the video compared to the dash - it didn't flash when I was driving! Anthony (aka DunnTheSpun)

7sprinter: I won't be drawn into a full on discussion on this cos the season's starting & I don't have time!

But I will say:

- It was purely an instinctive move, not planned

- I do know the rules regarding white lines, but in fairness I was alongside the other cars & pushed wide by one, so I had the choice of going wide or making contact with it

- I had no issues afterwards from the competitors of those two cars

It's a grey area I understand, but I don't feel I 'cheated' in any way. Anthony

wow this driver is amazing and that sr3 is really set up nice. On paper the Sr8's would have been walking on them and staying on brakes and turning but the sr3 was just on another level w/ the braking. Phenomenal

The problem with vids like this is when you go on to watch similar races with EVO's & GTRs etc, it feels like you are watching in slow motion. The acceleration /deceleration of these things is something else.

Nice bit of driving Anthony. It's so frustrating when you are in a lower HP car but much faster in the corners. Sometimes you just have to put it in there and make them stay behind you so you can pull out in the twisties. Very nice job!

Looks like the driver is the camera car is holding better lines through some of the longer corners.

The white car was holding the inside instead of using a late apex.

What is the weight difference between these cars, it looks like the sr3 can brake a bit later that then sr8 as well.

It's easier to drive than a superkart I would guess - the steering is quite light compared to most downforce cars I've driven. You just have to have big balls in the fast stuff....

I guess you're refering to the lights on the steering wheel? It's a Faringdon wheel (got predictive times, revs - VERY good) which isn't standard on an SR3. I can assure you it was an SR3 I was driving...otherwise I'd be a little disappointed with the engine power...

Not really sure about the dash - the normal Radical dash I guess had been removed because it had the Faringdon wheel, but otherwise it was a standard SR3 dash I think. It's not the newest one cos that has only just come out and this was taken in 2007. Over and out.

I was lucky enough to get a few laps in an SR3 on an experience day at Mallory Park and i have to say it is an unreal machine.

I've never been in anything that could overtake a Gallardo on the outside line of a bend at full throttle. Amazing car

Been on that part of the track myself trying something similar in a saloon race, what you don't realise is that the grip there is not so good because of the marbles. I got well crossed up and lost a place, where as you showed how it should be done. Maybe i should switch to sports cars...Really nice move though, takes commitment.
