However, this research is much contested. Also, when smoked in reasonable quantities, marijuana has been shown to have many good qualities. I have alot of time and respect for the religious coverage work and documentation done by Peter Owen Jones. This programme screened last year really got me interested, around the world in 80 faiths is a great series worthy of awards.

I used to think like that. i followed hindu path for many many years, meeting Indian gurus like UG Krishnamurti and sai baba, doing yoga, meditation, tapas etc. Even attained the samadhis and self-realization. But when i died in September 2007, the veil was finally lifted and Satan tried to devour my soul, and only Jesus Christ was able to save me and return me to life.

i was basically a buddhist/hindu when i had my death experience! Buddhism and hinduism are very much related, and i can prove that. But a NEAR death experience is a different phenomena. This was death, not a near death. Near death they see the white light, that yogi's also see in nirvikalpa samadhi. But its sill deception. When i died, the fallen ones tried to fool me that i had been in Japan in a past life, yet Bible says we have one life. Much deception in near-death experiences too.

Exactly, it was either to test me or a lie to trick me. After i chose the Christ door, the being said "Why do I sense such destruction in you?", then "Usually when people don't make eye contact they are ashamed of something". Then it's anger grew like a fire that was going to destroy my soul, it was that intense, and thats when i was completely reduced to being just like a helpless baby (not a powerful buddha! lol), and allowed to return.
