  • Why Japan is Great reason number 1........This could be a date.

"Hey hun,I'm bored.Wanna go build a Gundam Model?"

    "Sure!"

  • この動画を見ている外国人の皆さん、

    日本では料理のように、女の子がガンプラを日常的に作っているわけじゃありませんからねw

    そこんとこ間違わないようにw

  • is that surfacer 1000 and mr base white 1000 is an optional? or i just need to used one of it ?

  • Terrible way of spraying....

  • That's the baddest-ass harmonica solo I've ever heard.

  • @akuhenshin No, she sprayed surfacer on the model. It's not like glue, it helps the paint colors be bright. Wear a mask and open a window when spray painting, the fumes are dangerous.

  • what is that on 3:44?

    carboard what its called?

  • i have never freaking build a gundam, but i'm pretty sure she just sprayed something with the joints still on them, it's that ok? wouldn't that make them stick?

  • How long does it take to be in the water??

  • somebody translate this video... pleeaaasseeee!!!

  • wouldnt it be better to do all this cleaning before you put it together

  • i wonder how she knows how to put all that shit back together when its all been pulled apart

  • never spray like her!!

  • OK well, I have my model and some gundam markers. what kind of "primer" and/or "spray" do I need? everywhere I read just says primer and spray.

  • I though she finished it in part 1 XD

  • Goddamn shes smoking.

  • hey guy..mind to tell me why she hav to clean it bfore colour it...???

i tot for gundam we nno ned to do that...just apply to the colour n it will be fine...any answer for me?

  • to get the oil and mold release off of it

  • i just bout myself an gundam Rx-78-2 ver ka..i din clean it n just spray colour on it..it look fine..isit bcoz maybe the company not the same of production????

    u a gunpla too?

  • Your not required to clean it, but sometimes the mold release on the plastic will prevent the paint from sticking.

Secondly, how's that RX-78-2 ver ka, i heard it's the worst version of the RX-78 in MG form.

And lastly, please learn to type correctly, or at least learn some grammer. (Unless english isn't your primary language)

  • dude wat i using is short from...we all no need tp spell all word to let other to understand....

gundam RX-72 ver ka..is a batter version for this model..it will look more details..n mostly id depend on how u colour it n custom it..

  • dam dude plz do not use short form anymore it's starting to give me a brain tumor trying to decifer you spelling lol

  • @RandomGuy820 I think you'll find it's actually "you're" (you are) and "grammar". *facepalm*

  • Yea, Elios' right, but let me just elaborate. Basically what they do when making the runners is they add some grease to the surfaces of the moulds to make the runners easier to remove. Some of this grease actually stays on the runners and if you don't wash them before painting then chances are even with primer the paint won't stay on as well as it should.

  • @bent so the video can became longer

  • Anyone know where to buy those alligator clips on a stick? i know Michael's has alligator clips and the sticks seperate, but does any store sell them together?

  • wouldnt placing the parts on newspaper make it dirty again?

  • Hahahaha, love the fact she uses the pink toothbrush, pink bowl and even pink washing detergent (or something like that, I guess)! - And boy-oh-boy: she really IS hot!!!

  • the music is so strange

  • lol, do we have to fork out $10 for the official gunpla toothbrush

  • haha and 20 for the official washing bowl

  • and another 45 for the towl

  • Yeah and 15 for the "official" soap and water. lol.

  • be sure to replace it every 3 months....

  • calm down shes a professional

  • She's not o.O

  • yeah well she has tits and a vagina so she is

  • How's that ruining a model? Priming and putting on a white base is very common for painting and helps the paint stay on. You'd be ruining the model not to do it

  • when did i say that?

    i said shes a professional

  • I was talkin bout mx780

  • Doesn't washing the parts in soap water wear away the cement though?

And how long should I wait before sanding a part that has been cemented? 1 minute?

  • Cement takes a long time to cure imo (fully cure). Cement melts the plastic and creates a new bond between the parts. Its not a type of glue in a way. So it'll be fine unless your bond is very weak.

  • argh~! she's too cute to pay attention on this tutorial.=/ I think i'll have to resit this subject.

  • can someone tell me what she is use the toothbrush for and what she put in the water

  • It's just a cleaning process that's all. The toothbrush is to wash/brush off any dust that might stick to part after you sanded. all she put in the water is basely a detergent.Dish washing soap is a common one that many people use. Hope that answer your question.

  • wow she hav her own style of building gundam model kit.

  • u should add subs for those of us thet arent jap ppl

  • what is that mr.surfacer for and mr.base white for?

  • surfacer for giving the parts a (white) base color and it makes the colors stick better to the model.

you don't "have" to use it

  • I understand how surface works, but what is the difference btw surfacer and white base?

  • Could i just use a fine gray primer for preparing the parts for paint?

  • yeah u can thats wut the other gundam builder use so i think its a yes

  • @onikuy Mr Surfacer is like a liquid putty, it fills in any scratches and dents in the resin. It comes in three grades depending on how uneven your surface is. Mr Base White -- as sleepylafiel stated -- is basically an undercoat, a primer.

  • she is way too hot to be doing this...

  • Anyone know what she was doing soaking the pieces in the bowl of solution?

  • she's washing them in water with a bit soap/dishwasher stuff added

  • @sleepylafiel She shouldn't be touching the parts with her bare hands after washing them. The point of washing them is to remove any dust from sanding and oils from your skin. Touching them after washing them risks putting oil back on the resin which can adversely effect adhesion of the Mr Base White.

  • shes getting the plasticy residue off the pieces so that the primer and what not sticks better

  • @DShikigami The plastic is usually slightly greasy, first from simply coming off the mould and then with handling, a soap wash will ensure the plastic is clear of impurities so the paint will stick better.

IMO, soap-wash, surfacer and base-color is overkill.

  • @DShikigami When gunam kits are packaged, they have a bit of oil added to the outer layer of the peices witch prevent them from geting un wanted dirt and/or color stained to the part. This also gives a slight hinderance to painting. so you scrub off the film of oil, and it becomes alot easyer for paint to stick to your kit, and in my opinion, gives a nicer finish.

  • all i can is that she is dang cute....

  • Damn. . I Need That

  • toysnjoys(dot)com has them. thank god i live in hawaii since i can just drive to their store and pick it up.
