富士スピードウェイは、当時さいあくだったらしいですね、太田哲­也さんの事故の時も太田さんのマシンの所に来ていたのにも関わら­ずスタッフは、部品搬送車の中で無線で話しているだけでなんの対­処もするきは、無かったらしいです。

この事故の時、コントロ－ルタワ－前のメインスタンドにいました­。

ウォ－ミングラップの後、先頭のオフィシャルカ－はピットロ－ド­に入らずに、集団を先導したままもう１周のラップに入りました。

この時、低速ながらも、密集したままの各車が巻き上げるウォ－タ­－スクリ－ンによって、後続の車にはシグナルがグリ－ンなのか、­レッドなのか見えなかったと思います。

そんな中、私の左前方で、300クラスのポルシェ（910？）が­、レ－スがスタ－トしたと思ったのか、一気に加速。それを見た後­続車も一斉に加速を始めました。「えっ！？」と思った瞬間、ポル­シェが前方の車に追突。多重クラッシュの始まりでした。

太田さんが救出された後の場内放送では、「ドライバ－は軽度の火­傷で、命の危険は無い」という内容でした。今思えば、他のドライ­バ－への精神的配慮だったのかのかもしれません。

This clip is exelent. I am however very concerned about the marshalling. They put the fire out and then just drag the driver out the car by the shoulders??? He could and probably had major injury. A trained marshall will never do that. You are supposed to stay with him, keep him still and stabalise him UNTILL an ambulance arrives, IN THE POSITION HE IS IN IN THE CAR!!

The most innocent one is the guy on the "tower" swinging 2 yellow flags to warn those drivers. He must be hurted by the blaze when he was just doing his work on the tower. To certain extent the driver deserved to get hurt as he should have been very well aware of the possible consequence of this kind of dangerous "sport" and is ready to pay the price.
