Your song is out of tune (the opening interval is a semitone flat, the top note is a minor third too low, etc.). I have a theory as to why: You started with a 4in spacing between 1in grooves. To change the pitch correctly, you should scale the whole 5in unit (spacing AND groove). But if you just scale the spacing, you get the wrong interval: (3+1)/(4+1) gives a M3rd (5/4) instead of 4th (4/3), and (2+1)/(4+1) gives a M6th (5/3) instead of octave (2/1).
Depending on the car, tire type, speed and a few other factors, the song will sound diferent to each traveler. So it's about getting as close to the real deal as possible and make that work for several diferent types of tyres and cars. Perhaps using the same car they used with the same performance tyres they used you would hear the song in tune.
Not true brenoribeiro2007. The problem is not that the melody is out of tune, rather that the intervals themselves are completely wrong. Changing speed would not affect the intervals, it would only transpose the key. The melody intervals are wrong in the commercial itself - so using the same car and tires that they did would not fix the issue. Other videos posted of the road in different cars have the same wrong intervals found in this video. Thus, car and tire type have no affect on intervals.
I am sorry, I now realized what he meant, I thought he was talking about a similar issue people talked about, but then again they did a bloody good job on the road, not perfect, but fun to drive on.
