Typical Mancini, I love the way the strings build up getting louder twice.

I used a lot of his recording's using a Westrex Cinema sound system for ballroom dancing in large halls, a lot of his music is in 3/4 time and are great to waltz to .When he passed away he hardly got a mention in the UK, just 1 minuet on the TV, very sad, in fact disgraceful. Have you checked out Enio Morricone DVD, live at Piazza San Marco in Venice, very good sound quality, it features great tracks, very large orch.

This is my favorite music and movie. I was right there when it came on t.v. My second favorite is the Beauty and the Beast series with Catherine and Vincent it also deals with the struggles of life and love, it has beautiful music too.

I love this music and the movie. When I hear it, I think of it. However, 5yrs ago when I brought my daughter home from the hospital this music started playing while we were rocking. I started crying like no buddie's business. Not sure if it was the music or that I finally had my baby girl.
