@maybe9909 Neither! I have the desire, it's an amazing phone. I love it, BUT it's dated, has limited internal memory for installing applications and it's only worth getting it if you plan on rooting it and installing custom roms. The Desire is the number one most hacked Android phone as of date.

I would say go with something else newer. Not the Wildfire, it looks odd and there are better phones out there. If you're down to these two - Desire then.

Mine does not get hot at all. Battery lasts about a day.

Turn off wifi, bluetooth etc, and it should last more.

I'm liking the Super TFT over the AMOLED displays. The OLED displays all seem to have a checker board effect. I think that's because the pixels are offset on each row. I don't like it at all, it makes every straight line jagged. Which sux. :P

I bought it couple weeks ago in Germany. Here you can already get the Android 2.2 update.With Froyo you can record 720p videos and much more new stuff. In my opinion its the best Android phone.

@Dapruneman umm your wrong. i never hand any antenna issue. it's was only in hand full of headsets. but it was fixed in the os update. also when 4.0 went live all iPhone owners got it that day. Not at the end of September, or in the middle of August. Unlike froyo yea the nexus will get it first. two months later ok evo you can have it. another two months later ok incredible your turn..o wait no you still have to wait a little longer.

@noobkirax No, Many iphone 4 users have reported that theyre previous iphones would have a moderate amount of service while theyre iphone4 would barely have any, a software update cannot fix the hardware, an external antenna surrounding the whole phone is a bad idea and thats why apple is one of the few manafactures that does it, and also the iphone 4 antenna problem was the same on all phones, it may or may not have affected you due to the way you hold your phone

I have a Droid Incredible which is almost the same as the Desire internally, but I LOVE the Desire's external aesthetics and the physical buttons. The Droid Incredible is plasticky and mine has started to snap and pop every time I hold it because of its crappy construction. I want a metal phone like the Desire.
