I have an iPhone 3Gs FW 3.1.3 baseband 5.12.01 (new boot rom) and I “believe” I unlocked it, but I can’t tell b/c I don’t have a T-Mobile sim card. My phone is jailbroken by Spirit. I turned my 3G off, then went into Cydia and installed the Ultrasn0w unlocker. After it rebooted, the phone read “no service”. I didn’t have a T-Mobile card, so I uninstalled it and my service returned. If anyone could try it and let us know, it could help us all.
