I had a heart attack 4 years ago at the age of 47. Thank goodness I had the presence of mind to chew (don't swallow) 2 aspirin to thin my blood out so it could begin to flow around the clot. My cardiologist told me by doing so it saved my life.
@MrAinslieJJ Even the paramedics follow similar protocols. The difference between the care they provide and the care that a first aider can provide, is the administration of oxygen. But the management of chest pain remains the same: to sit the victim (Fowler position) and reassure them.
Good videos. Unfortunately most people are too scared to help in these situations, even with first aid knowledge. If someone requires first aid you must trust the knowledge that you have and do what you can; don't be a spectator.

Is that it?! Sit them down, call an ambulance and reassure them? Is that not common sense?
