Im planning on buy a 32" LCD tv during black friday this year and making this EXACT set-up. I'm only 15 and could always use some knowledge, got any tips on buying or comments on the actual performance of the TV as pc monitor?
@Wmerritt515 if you plan on gaming with it make sure you have a good video card... if you want to use it for good visuals (graphics) :) hope this helped :)
@chefedogang Nice man, how much was it? Im going to save up for a T.v. this small because its one i can acually play on, I have a 56" But its too fucking annoying. Its hard to play on but fine for 3D usage :3
this is probably a dumb question but hey this is youtube so ill ask it anyways, i was wondering besides the connections is there any other reason why a monitor would not be complient with a tower?
why wasnt that 1st youtube video u showed us not playing smoothly, but the rest worked so i assume its not a playback issue. i have an lg ld32350 its 720p but tv and my 360 and ps3 look great on it. i want to try connecting my laptop to it, the cable is coming in the mail but my laptop only has a vga output so can i still get full screen hd? are you using hdmi or the same? my laptop has ubuntu, vista, and 7 on it so id figure one would atleast do a 32in full display
@bigj619d3 I did try VGA but the result was not so good as DVI , but I connected my Laptop only VGA to a Samsung 40" and it was GREAT ! some day I do a video about it.
@chefedogang is it better than s-video because i had an old laptop with s-video to rca and it looked pretty bad. does the vga do the full 16:9 and it doesnt need to look really great, just an alternative for watching videos instead of on my laptop screen. atleast until i get a new laptop with hdmi or a desktop with a dvi
@chefedogang All right and if it matters whats better for gaming heres my options 1 32" tv full hd or full hd x3 24" widescreen moniters what would you chose?
@MaXiiMuMReviewZz If you were still wondering, Hdmi and Dvi are one and the same. They have to same quality and same amount of connections inside of them, just different connector ends. Use the one thats most convenient for you
@chefedogang mmm pero mi lg NO tiene entrada VGA porque dice service only y mi laptop no tiene puerto hdmi, yo compre un cable VGA/VIDEO COMPONENT pero ni asi funciono :S solo tiene HDMI IN....
@chefedogang Hey i have a samsung LCD HDTV and in the back it has a blue entrance with two holes one on each side od the entrance and above it it says PC does that mean it can be used as a PC monitor too? when i turn on my tv i can go on sources and there are 3 sources (TV, EXT, PC) that means i can use it as a pc monitor if i use a vga cable right?
I would buy this tv! why they do not have to choose 1920x1080 resolution? (4:05) Please answer It is important to me I want to buy for my pc and I will play full hd!?...
@Sienify If this information is correct the resolution (detail/sharpness) on a 32" has its full benefit around 122cm. If the overall picturequality,color or brightness looks better from an other distance i cant tell.
hey guys i have a chance to get one of these babies for a REALLY good price from a friend, the only problem is that it has 1 dead pixel :(

@randir14
i bought the 32" lcd tv from argos yesterday for 250 bucks, as soon as i jacked in the HDMI cable it came up straight away both picture and sound [ quite suprised really lol] had to sit for a bit and adjust screen resolution, stretch screen , adjust font sizes etc through the nvidia graphics card but was real simple to do. also disabled sound goin through HDMI cable so i could get sound from my pc speakers, they werent workin at first, overall took me 30mins or so, looks fab on 32"

dude no.... you need a 22'' monitor, cuz you can't even work with your pc when you're around 1ft away from it.
