why wasnt that 1st youtube video u showed us not playing smoothly, but the rest worked so i assume its not a playback issue. i have an lg ld32350 its 720p but tv and my 360 and ps3 look great on it. i want to try connecting my laptop to it, the cable is coming in the mail but my laptop only has a vga output so can i still get full screen hd? are you using hdmi or the same? my laptop has ubuntu, vista, and 7 on it so id figure one would atleast do a 32in full display

@2006scottw my HDMI cable just go from my nvidia 8600gt card , carries no sound , the sound is connected to a amplifier , perhaps a motherboard with HDMI out also output sound I do not know ....

@chefedogang Well, if im not mistaken, every Grafics Card with DVI and HDMI output has a SPDIF conector in it. You probabily only need to connect your motherboard spdif out(internal) to your GX card and then there will be sound output.

The only thing I had to do was go to his TV input and choose HDMI 3 (that's where the cord from the PC was plugged in). He has a Sony Bravia so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Good luck

i bought the 32" lcd tv from argos yesterday for 250 bucks, as soon as i jacked in the HDMI cable it came up straight away both picture and sound [ quite suprised really lol] had to sit for a bit and adjust screen resolution, stretch screen , adjust font sizes etc through the nvidia graphics card but was real simple to do. also disabled sound goin through HDMI cable so i could get sound from my pc speakers, they werent workin at first, overall took me 30mins or so, looks fab on 32"
