Construstive crriticism: work on intonation! haha I assure you, it would sound much better than it already does it the notes were in tune, they're close, but not quite right. I'm asking cause I've bought myself a violin too (but Stagg's, it's astounding! :) and I'm forced to learn without a teacher. You did your job well, it was a pleasure to hear Summer Overture done by one violin and looking like if it was made by two or three. Your vibrato looks very good (Do you make it with your wrist or whole arm?), and 3:56 up is so PRO-like! I'm waiting for next videos!

I have been playing a regular acoustic for many years. I learned to play in public school and never really took private lessons. In college I played for a quartet/small orchestra but decided my tastes lied in the electric. So yes, I have been teaching myself the electric, but I was decent on an acoustic first. Wrist vs whole arm depends upon the speed and length you're looking for. Keep doing the vibrato even if it sounds like a dying cow and eventually it will start coming out right.

Not sure exactly what you mean. However, the looping station is hardwired (through cables) into the circuit so it receives basically the same signal from the pickups on the instrument as everything else does, assuming it isn't altered by something else in the circuit. So all it does is records a segment of the signal and plays it back.
