Disney Land and Disney World should have all the same stuff, I think. I don't think Disney World redoes the Haunted Mansion at Halloween, but they do bring out Jack and Sally for pictures and autographs. :)

I'm a purist, definitely. The ride's better/scarier without all of that.

Don't get me wrong, I love NBC. But it seems awfully time-consuming to clutter up a classic ride. Why don't they just make a Nightmare ride as well as having the Haunted Mansion? More spooky = better, after all.

@princesskyrie I have been on Both. The nightmare before christmas is a toned down version in my opinion. Way less scary. I am a fan of this movie but I prefer the original ride better (:

@springchic94 Thanks, but it turns out we weren't able to go on Haunted Mansion. Every time we tried to get in line, we'd look online for line reports and the lines were ridiculously long (over an hour at one point), so we decided to ride other things. Thanks, though!

Yeah because if anybody's watched the Nightmare Before Christmas, it is basically sort of a spooky Halloween-Christmas theme because the story is about how after visiting Christmas Town, Jack Skellington tries to recreate Christmas in Halloween Town, and it doesn't go to well because their natural instincts are Halloween so they screw it all up and yeah

Not sure how often you actually visit Disneyland, but this is in fact DL and not WDW. I also have to disagree with you that Florida's Disney is better. Some things may be, but IMO Disney's atmosphere is much better and more cozy than WDW.

yeah, during halloween, they change the theme of the house to the nightmare before christmas. then after christmas (into January i think) they keep it then change it to the regular haunted mansion.
