  • even if jesus was real i seriously fucking doubt he would consider this gospel music

BRB listening to alpha bands emmure oceano miss may i

BRB not being a religious phaggot

  • 3:36 DUBSTEP!

  • lol pitiful religious responses in this interview.

  • okay does anyone else totally hate and dont understand new moshing? honesly everyone just looks like huge retards waving their hands in the air and moving like they are drunk and have no sense of coordination its just soo fucking lame and stupid i hate it

  • 3:35

    Dubstep?

  • @gnarwhal069 lol i totally just posted the same thing as you before i saw this

  • Evolution cant be proven what they teach is all lies..God is Almighty he was and is and will be forever..our wisdom cant understand..thats why without faith it is impossible to please him.

  • what? the Rhythm player got an interview?....gtfo...

  • @HeroXofXTime21

What? You're an idiot? Yeah, so gtfo....

  • @RyanPullin this bro is mad

  • @HeroXofXTime21

    Nah, you're just an idiot.

  • @RyanPullin seems like a mad response

  • @HeroXofXTime21 okay???

  • In the begining was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the begining with God. All things were made by him and without him was nothing made that was made. John 1:1-2 there is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD. Proverbs 18:21 there is nothing to be confused about just have faith in Gods word..its all over the scripture u just have to search them like ur digging for gold. its called doctrine for a reason.

  • @jonny420sully yea, to indoctrinate you with religious dogma.

  • @jonny420sully The world was here before god. Obviously. Christianity is the youngest 'big' religion in the world. So, obviously, our view of god is flawed.

  • Hello, I'm a hipster in the mosh pit. I wear a marbled dye t-shirt with my flat cap and mosh while holding my balls. I'm awsome.

  • @TheMagicOrca how can you be a Christian and believe evolution? Doesn't the bible teach the god created humans? If evolution is true wouldn't that make Christianity false and vice versa?

  • I understand both sides completely. The largest group of Christians in the world is the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church accepts evolution as an explanation of the diversity of life. What I'm saying is that technically, most Christians believe in evolution and belief in evolution doesn't not mean you can't be Christian. The guy being interviewed has a completely ignorant view of evolution though, and its that dismissive essentialist thinking that creates issues on both sides.

  • @TheMagicOrca well, If you know both thoroughly, Evolution and religion in general is that they conflict. Science Fly's in the face of religion, Please don't say that they are compatible. Example, The bible says the earth is 10,000 yrs old, in Fact the earth is 4.4 billion years old. I agree the interviewer is pretty ignorant and asks dumb questions..

  • @235RB I agree with you on the age of the earth. Science conflicts with a literal interpretation of the bible, but anyone who subscribes to that kind of interpretation is ridiculous. I'm not even a christian by the way.

  • @235RB (1 of 2)The bible doesnt say that at all. there are some people who do the math through the genealogies and come up with that number (young earth creationists) but theres pretty solid proof those genealogies leave out many names on purpose. that and the words we see in our english bibles in genesis translated "day", came from the hebrew word yom, which also literally means a long but finite period of time. by saying the bible says eathh is 10,000 years old you set up a straw man.

  • @235RB (2 of 2) even if you don't believe, you should at least have some backround info on how science and the bible do match up. (you should know a position well enough to argue for it before u argue against it) a good organization is Reasons To Believe. they are made up of scientists who have degrees/PHDs. just read some articles and listen to a podcast or two. even if you dont believe in god, u can still get a good idea of things, rather than setting up a strawman and knocking it down.

  • @79kaufman Ok, name one instance where science and religion go together. Just one.

  • @235RB (1 of 2) sure thing! okay, in the bible, it says 11 times that God is stretching out the heavens (sky/space). even the oldest book of the bible (Job) says it twice. the original languages imply that the stretching is continuous, as in always happened, and is still happening. we know now that this must be referring to cosmic expansion, which wasnt posed until around 4000 years AFTER Job.

  • @235RB (2 of 2) There are plenty more too. but im not having another youtube debate. they end up accomplishing nothing. i just wanted to let you know that you gotta know a little more before arguing against christianity. you said the bible proposes a young earth. only some christians believe that, and i can concur that they got it all wrong, but saying the bible teaches that??? you got that all wrong.

  • Fuck sake

  • To simply put it if there is a God there is no way of coming to a conlusion of how we came into existence other then what the word makes clear, God will not/did not leave that open to us for our belief in him is rooted in Faith and Faith only. If there is no God, once again theres really no way of coming to a conclusion for our theories could be wrong, its a useless arguement. Believe or choose not to, dont be nonchalty, but truly seek for truth for this live and our next could depend on it.

  • evolution has been proven false years ago, even the smart atheists admit that, people who still believe its true, obviously have no idea whats actually been going on in the scientific world, and have the same blind faith as the people they criticize.

  • If anyone says God is bullshit, just cite the kalam cosmological argument. That will shut them up.

  • @metallica04100 God is bullshit.

  • @ShakeZulaTheMicRula Look up the kalam cosmological argument.

  • @metallica04100 That argument basically states, we don't fucking know what happened so lets say a guy named God created it. As with everything Christians dont get.

  • @TheValorEmpire do you believe in the big bang?

  • he looks like Dean from supernatural!

  • he's lost so much weight, i can't call him baby brent anymore

  • evolution is the natural order of creation. hehe

    <3

  • @Tempo2Zs

    JESUS LOVES YOU!!!

  • No idea why but he reminds me of Raymond from everybody love raymond. Lol

  • He looks nothing like a metal artist lol, I love August Burns Red though, praise God!

  • and... WTF is the public doing at 4:03 ???

  • Comment removed

  • evolution goes completely against physics, tones of scientists disagree about evolution, im christian but i do agree with most science, except evolution

  • @Darkking271 You don't know shit about evolution, you only disagree because it conflicts with your religion.

  • It takes a strong man/woman to give there life to Jesus Christ. the dead can keep their life and do what they will with it, but in the end only the Strong and the Righteous will survive.focus on the real picture, which is The Lord Jesus Christ. I love you and Jesus Loves you. I dont see why people continue to argue over which is right or wrong. is Evolution Right or is Creation right? is there really a God? Yes there is a God. You cant disprove God or Jesus. the bible is full of witnesses.

  • religion has always been a way to explain stuff that science couldn't. everytime scientists proves how something works, religious people will say "oh well who's to say god didnt do it that way" etc. like 5000 years ago people believed in weather gods to explain thunder. its kinda stupid, but whatever. as long as you dont go full retard and deny evolution..

  • So that's what he bases his belief structure on? A man who lives in the sky and creates personalities, wow.

  • @iganbarelytohg if believing in God is like believing in a man who lives in the sky, then believing in evolution is like believing that pokemon is real. These arguments just keep going and going forever because neither side truly understands the other.

  • Everybody could shut up.. there is nothing wrong with me believing in evolution AND god. If god wanted everyone to believe in the same thing he would have.

  • The word theory means the thought or idea that it would possibly happen, but it implies to be not true, So using a theory implies that with you think though it is flawed even more it is possible but saying that theory works it really doesn't. Something that comes out of nothing and creates a whole galaxy and universe out of nothing for no reason... yeah and allot of people say that evolution makes sense but after hearing something like this sounds like just made up theory that people fight over

  • @DarkWarrior076 Actually the proper definition of "theory" as far as science is concerned is an idea based on scientific facts, laws and evidence. It has far more weight than a hypothesis, which is an assumption or a speculation. The theory of gravity is accepted as correct; the word "theory" doesn't change that.

  • UP right DUDE PRAISE God

  • This dude is just nailing him with the questions

  • I love ABR and I respect their entitled to their beliefs, but I hate to see people who don't accept evolution because their religion doesn't encompass it. It's ignorance in my opinion ;_;

  • @Spare1ForMe

Well, some people sometimes do it out of ignorance but I (not saying that I'm different from them)study evolution and I see it as flawed believing that we should never believe that everything is done by chance. And thats why I love the Bible and the Laws of Thermodynamics because they both state why evolution is just another theory and its flawed because everything has a beginning and they all have a Creator.

  • @DarkWarrior076 Evolution is flawed, even from the point of view of someone who believes in it, but I feel it is the theory with the most evidence to back it up! I, as an atheist, see the bible as heavily flawed; and I do not say this in ignorance, I have done my research (: While saying this, I do see the bible for the most part (teaching of Jesus) to be a good moral basis!

  • What song was in the background?

  • im a christian. but i dont believe have the things in the bible. simple as that. the bible has views from 2000 years ago. times have changed and science has changed. i still believe in god. but i believe in reason

  • @RunsInTheSkinnyJeans exactly my views

  • @RunsInTheSkinnyJeans you say you're a christian and you say you believe in God, but you don't believe in his word?? That is one of the most hypocritical things I've ever heard

  • @blackearth153 well, im a Christian. but im not sure about everything in the bible. i mean the bible was originally written in hebrew. and was translated to english for us. and there isn't an english word for every hebrew word as for any other language. so the person/people who translated it just basically interpreted it the best he/she/they could. or it's even a possibility that they added or took out stuff from the original bible to make it how they saw fit.

  • @dumbasswhitekid That's why God gave us the Holy Spirit though to discern between right and wrong, as well as truth and falsehood.

  • @blackearth153 yup. amen to that. but my point was that just because you don't believe everything in the bible doesn't make you a hypocrite like you told that other guy. there are a few things that i don't believe. i do believe most of it. but there are some things that just don't seem right. that could have been a misinterpretation from the original hebrew bible. now i could be wrong. but that's just what i believe.

  • @dumbasswhitekid Yeah I see where you are coming from maybe I shouldn't have said the hypocritical part.In my defense I didn't see the "half"(or have as he spelled it) I thought he was claiming to be a Christian with out believing any of the Bible.

  • @RunsInTheSkinnyJeans

Then what are you then? If your a Christian and yet you don't believe all what Jesus says? How can you say that when you say that you don't believe what the Bibe says? The Bible is not just a book about morality but it tells the truth about the life before the life of Jesus. I'm sorry your just not a real Christian if you don't believe all what Jesus has done both in the New and Old Testament and your worldview is flawed.

  • There is no proof of god and hardcore dancing looks ridiculous.

  • whos to say god couldnt have caused the big bang and evolution?

  • @RunsInTheSkinnyJeans The bible lol.

  • @mattdooley99 Actually the bible just says "God created the Heavens and the Earth" it never states how it happened, it's something only God knows. And evolution is true to a degree its called adaptation(at least that's the way I would put it) there are certain points to evolution theory though I would have to disagree with such as humans coming from monkeys.

  • @blackearth153 I'm not sure about the exact classification, but I think the common ancestors of humans and modern monkeys were a species of monkey, too.

  • @blackearth153

And evolution is more than that, it says that this world has no Creator and everything is made by chance but its not true because God gave us both a logical and spiritual sense why evolution is a lie.

  • @DarkWarrior076 I'm glad you pushing this so much but I know that God made us and I've already devoted my life to him I'm just saying what the term evolution means or at least the way I was taught it I never learned anything about there being no Creator or at least if I did I probably removed it from my memory because I don't need false facts like that floating around. I also think you shouldn't be trying so hard to fight against something that is just a theory.

  • @DarkWarrior076 only one being knows how life truly works and that's God so I leave that up to him and just live life in the way he wants me to. (this was supposed to be part of my last message I just ran out of characters

  • @blackearth153 You obviously didnt read the Bible then XD

  • A simple low cut filter would have taken that distracting hum out of the mix

  • He's a very nice, honest guy. But also very simple in thinking.

  • Every "christians" opinion about god is diffrent. They belive in a god that saves and punishes but is that really human? To punish other because I, only I hate that person? But when they talk about god and stuff THEY ONLY, AND ALWAYS PICK the MOST hard subject to explain just because when the atheist is having a hardtime explaing it they just babling about other stuff. If ALL christians would help the evolution theory than deny it woundn't that be better? l

Life not worth living with no god?

  • what song is being played in the background? i don't recognize it

  • @pwner22222 August Burns Red - Boys of Fall

  • I don't get it... Why can't they coexist? I think, if he wanted to, God could have made animals evolve.

  • @ThePikpikcarrot And that could've been one of Gods mechanisms. See, evolution happened way to quickly to be explained logically. And we know the first cell couldnt produce itself, like i said, that's just logic. Evolution by absolute naturalistic reasons is pretty much proven wrong at this point. It happened to fast to evolve without a creator. Read up on the "Cambrian Explosion".

  • lol funny how the non religious people out number the bible thumpers here on an ABR video haha

  • Brent FTW

  • Argument from ignorance. Nice. They're lucky that I fucking love them to death.

  • @chocolate632 I know dude. I started to just tune him out and try and hear the awesome music they made in the background.

  • I was atheist. I thought i was driven by science, i started studying biology, cosmology and chemistry. I became Christian, ahahahaha!

  • @teragreg OBVIOUS TROLL.

  • @r1chie311music Me? How...?

  • @teragreg HAHAHAHAHAHA WIN!!!!

  • @PeanutButterGtr Explain how i'm "trolling" you?

  • @teragreg Huh? Trolling? No trolling here. I just thought your comment was hilarious.

  • @teragreg How?

  • @Tempo2Zs If this is a reply to my top comment. Well, a bunch of reasons. Biology, the complexity of the cell, how we barely know anything of the full picture and still, life becomes more complex the more we learn about it. Cosmology, the beginning is what gets me. To have a beginning, and no creator, that would be defying laws of physics. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Where did the first action come from? Look into it. If youre a skeptical atheist, watch out! God bless

  • @teragreg To me, there is no need for a creator. If you question how the universe came from nothing, then wouldn't a god come from nothing as well. There is no evidence showing that prayer of any kind works, and there are many studies showing that the conscience is a product of the brain. So when I die, so do my memories, emotions, personalities and everything else about me.

  • @Tempo2Zs I used to think like that too. By reading your comment, im guessing you're still in elementary school? Because someone with at least grade 11 science would answer differently. Also, its God, not god. Your comment is very depressing and naive. So i say, start studying! The top scientists of history are theist. Some became theist due to their very own work!

  • @Tempo2Zs Everything that begins must have a beginning. The energy in the universe is finite, and has been proven to had a beginning- whether it be the big bang, or something else- had to have come from something, not ex-nihilo(from nothing) as some atheists proclaim. The difference enters that God has no beginning He always has been, is, and will be. Therefore He has no "beginning". He gives us the choice to be with Him, in love, forever. That includes you, man.

  • @teragreg I'm technically catholic.

    I have recently proclaimed atheism.

    I'm scientifically driven.

Doesn't mean I hate Catholicism and all of that.

I mean, I listen to ABR and TDWP and Skillet.

  • LOL 3:00 VANS ARE AMAZING

  • fuck christcore

  • @pleasantnightmare21 Then why are you watching a CHRISTIAN video about a CHRISTIAN band?

  • 3:03 ???

  • @ 1:07 - That guy is going to get kicked, hard. 0_o

  • I don't get what's right about believing in something that has no proof at all. Hearing someone talk to you in your head that isn't there would classify you as insane by definition.

  • @MunkeyTouch to say that there's no proof at all is a very very big leap. theres proof everywhere. just discussing the idea of God is proof of the possibility.

  • @MunkeyTouch

look up the definition of insanity then, because its obvious you don't know what it really is

  • Yeah, okay Brent, my dad took me to my first August Burns Red concert, and he's 56!

  • wiki is your friend. I've done the reading, have the textbooks. Its all what-ifs, maybes and conjecture. Over and over scientist say: well maybe this happened, and then maybe this other thing.... and voila !! life.

  • he looks so much like kevin james (the king of queens)

  • @MetalNick Couldn't have said it better myself

  • hes a good guy. thumbs up if you agree!

  • brent throws it down hard

  • that's brent's camaro in the background haha

  • Some debates are pointless. I respect all faiths, but if you don't let science into the discussion, what's the point of debating? Faith does not = science. Faith can not be disputed or proven, so it is pointless to show someone their faith is not scientifically supported. Science is also indisputable even when theoretical in that the components of a theory are factual. The pieces that make up a faith may have tangible reference but are made into conjecture where the intangible is the conclusion.

  • Comment removed

  • The fact that they're still around or "in the game" has nothing to do with their faith, it's because they make kick ass music. I'm atheist, yet I still respect them for what they do, and what they do is make music. Asking religious/political questions to anyone besides a religious figure or politician is meaningless. Beliefs are your own, the music is for all.

  • hell yeah im in this video

  • I felt what Brent was saying about how the older generation look at the hardcore style of music. I finally got my dad to listen to the new ABR cd and i can't believe he actually liked it

  • seriously? man I love this band, don't get me wrong, they are one of my favs, I have all the cds and stuff, and I don't question believing in god or not (still being a non believer myself and I believe any choice deserves respect) but there's no way in hell you can question Evolution in 2011!

  • @Fraxxo21 Lol I know right? I mean, I'm Christian and I know it happened

  • @Fraxxo21 I know right? How can people look at this world and how functions in perfect order and believe anything but a theory based on chaos and randomness is the answer?

  • @TheLbkthree yeah and of course believing in some extra-human entity that created everything explains it all right? and of course the world was created 6000 years ago and all the fossiles are fakes, and humans do not come from ancestral primates right? go on and believe all this shit as long as you want, but don't preach that to me cause I don't have no time to waste with fantasy tales

  • @Fraxxo21 It takes faith. Just like believing in Evolution takes faith. There are the unknowns. You're the one who started preaching, not me. I responded. So go ahead and believe everything came from nothing and I'll believe in Intelligent Design, but start ranting about it and be sure that I'll have something to say.

  • @TheLbkthree Believing evolution doesn't take faith, it's called scientific proof. You can't prove anything except the things written in an old book. I could list you hundreds of reasons that prove that evolution is a confirmed scientific theory. So I am not saying that you can't believe in god, but you can't put science and faith on the same level: faith means just believing in something because it's like it is. Science looks at the intrinsic reasons of natural phenomenons.

  • @Fraxxo21 Ignorant atheist is ignorant.

  • @RCJag are you sure I am the ignorant? Who ignores what all the scientific community is saying over and over again since probably 1859? Keep your faith and your mind closed, I'll go with science and reality.

  • @Fraxxo21 Scientific Evidence? HAH! That's hilarious. Yes in fact please do list a hundred reasons that prove evolution to be FACT and not THEROY. I do believe in Science and I believe it backs up Intelligent Design. So you can't use "Science" as you evidence, cause I do too. While you out there looking for it take a look at this code and instruction it takes for blood clotting to happen. You'd never guess so much was involved in a simple thing you probably don't think twice about when your cut.

  • @TheLbkthree Youtube comments have not enough space to make me write everything I woul write so I'll just sum it up for you: Paleonthologic proofs(fossiles of transitional forms between older and newer species),biogeographic proofs (continental drift=new species),bioinformatic (genetic algorithms), plus you can observe actual evolution of bacteria in relationship to it's resistance to antibiotics. Affirmanti incumbit probatio= "Proof lies on him who asserts, not on him who denies"

  • @Fraxxo21 There is absolutely no evidence AT ALL that evolution is true...You can definitely question the doof out of evolution IN 2011 and in the end your not gonna find one thing. Do you really think this didn't come from a creator look around you.Seriously just think about your surroundings and the reality of them. Just because someone said that they proved something with a test doesn't mean they proved it.Do that scientific test in front of me and lets see.Don't be fooled by the world man.

  • @JpRocca813 There is significant evidence toward the Theory of Evolution. If you haven't seen it, you can go to TalkOrgins and view it.

  • @thefistheserpent There was nothing.....i didn't see one thing

  • @JpRocca813

    1. the fossil record of change in earlier species

    2. the chemical and anatomical similarities of related life forms

    3. the geographic distribution of related species

    4. the recorded genetic changes in living organisms over many generations

You can be a Christian and accept evolution, but you can't deny it without being an idiot.

  • @thefistheserpent I'm sorry but I'm not an idiot, and there are just enough holes in evolution that i can show its fake, and there is just enough proof that you can prove it.

  • @mbdude5296 I'm afraid there are not "just enough holes" in the theory of evolution that you can "show its fake", but you're welcome to try.

  • @thefistheserpent If you knew anything about what you were talking about you would know that all of the facts you stated focus on micro evolution not macro evolution (micro evolution -evolution on a species scale) (macro evolution- evolution beyond a species scale) your statements prove micro evolution which is proven true species can change in there species but they can't change beyond there species which is macro evolution. You can't believe evolution without being a idiot.

  • @JpRocca813 Macroevolution happens over large periods of time, through microevolution. Genetic variation due to processes such as mutation, selection or genetic drift changes allele frequencies in a population. This eventually modifies one species to the point that they become another species, the process of speciation. This has been observed, and the evidence, shown by transitional fossils, has also been observed.

I definitely don't know what I'm talking about, though.

  • @thefistheserpent lol were did you get that wikipedia. The thing is speciation is a theory and not proven so you don't know what your talking about. Everything you just said is a theory that has no proof towards it. Good job showing proof of the theory of evolution threw theory's..I can take something as simple as water and prove god..Water freezes from the top down which lets fish live in it do you think that was a coincidence?

  • Comment removed

  • @JpRocca813 Speciation has been observed. It is a proven fact, instances can be cited. About the "water freezes from top down" argument, you're using a simpler version of the argument that the laws of physics allow us to exist, so something must have created them for us. This is nothing more than a leap of faith from the anthropic principle. We can only discuss our origins if we existed in the first place. By claiming design, we're absolving responsibility to find a real explanation.

  • @thefistheserpent 97% of the earths water is in the oceans which is salt water. There is tha system designed which removes salt from the water and then moves the water throughout the globe and it also takes the salt out for life to drink do you think thats just some coincidence? Do you think that just evolved and it just knew exactly what to do?

  • @JpRocca813 Science is a beautiful thing.

  • @MetalNick science is the poetry of reality

  • @JpRocca813 "When salt water evaporates, it leaves the salt behind and leaves fresh water. Therefore God exists." Does this really seem like a legitimate argument? The water cycle isn't an axiom of God's existence. And apparently you don't understand the Theory of Evolution applies to biological populations, not natural processes. You have the causality backwards. Not to mention that NEARLY 50% OF LIFE IS AQUATIC. NEARLY 50% OF ALL LIFE ON EARTH IS SUSTAINED ON SALTWATER.

  • @thefistheserpent Good job twisting my words. I never said god exists because of that i did i? I said do you really think that just evolved. Speciation is a theory thats why its called the theory of speciation. JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING HAS BEEN FRICKIN OBSERVED DOESNT MEAN IT IS ALL OF A SUDDEN A PROVEN FACT. "NEARLY 50% OF LIFE IS AQUATIC. NEARLY 50% OF ALL LIFE ON EARTH IS SUSTAINED ON SALTWATER." what is that even proving you basically just helping me out.

  • @thefistheserpent the fact that we can have 50% of the life on earth is sustained by salt water and we also have that salt water turning into freshwater to sustain human life. You think so narrow minded. You think in such a worldly way think outside of the world. Do you really think beyond here we have there are the same principles and limits we have here.

  • @thefistheserpent I believe Rocca's argument is essentially that the way that our world is, existence in general, is too complicated and convenient to just be explained away by evolution. At least you guys are topical: Intelligent Design V Evolution. Personally I think Evolution is too quick an answer. Consider this too guys; Evolution doesn't explain how life began. I think that's a more important argument. Scientists believe it was something like a random collection proteins and amino acids.

  • @SeVexed the chances of a "random collection of proteins and amino acids" coming together in just the right way ( forming the most basic RNA) would be so immensely rare, it 's for all intensive purposes scientifically improbable. The only way it COULD happen, just once, is if you give this primordial goo billions and billions year. And that's exactly what the majority of the scientific community does.

  • @muziqman100 You would benefit from looking up the topic of abiogensis on Talkorigins.

  • @thefistheserpent There are to many fillings in Christianity that make holes in evolution to prove its fake

  • @Fraxxo21

    yeah...you really can

the fact that they STILL have Haeckel's embryo's in text books in 2011 even though they were proven to be complete crap over TWO HUNDRED years ago by his own colleagues is enough to question it

i mean...if they are willing to put a complete falsehood into text books and teach it as a fact...then what other information are they feeding us that is utter bull?

  • if you rub the webbing on your left hand inbetween your thumb and pointer it tickles your neck

  • whoo!! :D

  • great interview

  • great interview. mad respect

  • I agree with him soo much

  • the music that brent will criticize when he's old already exists. It's called brokeNcyde

  • @111omerta and young money

  • @111omerta Pretty sure this will be criticized by everyone... forever.

  • Such a biased interview... Brent rocked it

  • haha i love brent, he's the man!
