Yes, you are exactly right! They are "honeysuckle vines" which grow wild around our yard! They smell very sweet on a spring day! The genus is Lonicera or Caprifoleum Mill, Caprifoliaceae family!You have agood eye! I love the smell and would never remove them. I also love wildflowers! Thank you for stopping b and commenting!

It get's dry late in the summer,early fall here. The deer are lucky to be able to visit your garden and not get shot at, like some people do to them here.:(

You know the deer here are "overpopulated" & there are plans to use poison arrows to kill them! I oppose this, but will get nowhere! I love those deer! I am aware that people are killed in car accidents, but isn't there some other solution? I am researching this!

The hats & collars were last year's Halloween Costumes! The coats are a necessity in cold weather-no choice-they need to be kept warm on cold days--no fat! Just the greys!! In very, very cold weather, I double & sometimes triple coat them each time they go out--this takes a lot of time! I love summer-open the door & they are out-however, they always seem to be on the wrong side of the door!
