Baha'is believe that Jesus was crucified and physically died on the cross but that the Sprit of Chist is eternal and cannot be killed. So we agree with the Koran that Christ did not die on the cross, but rather His Spirit ascended unto God when His body died. 1 Corinthians 8:6 says there is one Father and one Jesus, they are separate.
John 5:19, 6:38, and 7:16 all show that Jesus is inferior to his Father and like a child he strives to do the will of his Father and mirror his qualities.
Luke 22:42 also shows Jesus saying not for his own will to take place, but the Father's will, so they are separate.
Mark 13:32 shows Jesus had limited knowledge of the end times.
Acts 5:31 and Philippians 2:9 show Jesus being exalted by his God.

Terrible interpretation. Yahweh says He is the first and the last in Isaiah 44:6 (and many other places). Jesus was obviously claiming to be Yahweh. It is so obvious that the Bible teaches the deity of Jesus. When will Muslims admit this? All the New Testament writers knew Jesus is God and created the universe. Jesus is described as the creator of all things/the world in: John 1:3, 10, Col 1:16, Hebrews 1:2.

@ETHANGELIST Please read my previous comments, concerning the title "Fist and Last" this is an expression defining certain characteristics of both Yahweh and Jesus, Jesus explains in Revelation 1:18 what his title refers to, he is the first from the dead, and he is King forevermore. When first and last is mentioned for Jehovah it refers to him being the first before ALL (including Jesus) and the last because he has no end. Please remember these are titles not names!

Jesus was applying the unique title of "the first and the last" of Yahweh to Himself, therefore Jesus is claiming to be Yahweh. Verse 10 says God's voice is as a trumpet, verse 15 shows Jesus' voice as many waters, then reading on to chapter 4 starting in verse 1 you will see that the original voice speaking to John was that of the Almighty, please do your research into the scripture on what I am saying before commenting back.

The person with the voice of a trumpet in Rev 1:10 is Jesus not the Father. In verse 12, John turns to the One speaking to Him and in verse 13, it is the Son of Man and then Jesus says "I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!" in Rev 1:18. So your interpretation was totally wrong.

It is simply this: John hears a voice, he turns to look, at first seeing Jesus and the lampstands, and converses with Jesus (who is the voice of many waters, NOT a trumpet), then continuing on in chapter 4 where he left off before, he explains that the "First voice" of a trumpet invites him on up into heaven please read it in full. This is a revelation from GOD, which he gave to Jesus, and signified it by his angel, don't forget that. Starting in verse 16 of chapter 22 Jesus begins speaking for HIMSELF (and not before that verse as it describes explicitly at the start "I, Jesus..") and this is after the Alpha and Omega verses which are quoted from the Angel and not directed TO Jesus. @ETHANGELIST What do you mean I don't want Jesus to be God? I know Jesus is a God, the word Elohim translates God in English from the Hebrew but literally means a ruler. Acts 5:31 and Philippians 2:9 both show that the Father puts Jesus into a superior position and gives him Authority to rule the earth, so obviously Jesus is a God in that sense alone (now there are also many more reasons to see why Jesus is a God). @ETHANGELIST No one knows for sure to what extent Jesus aided in creation, but we know he did. We know also for sure the Jehovah initiated all creation without Jesus (there is no possible way Jesus could have initiated all creation when Jesus is himself a part of creation). Proverbs 8 gives us some details of what it was like in the early creation with Jesus being called "Wisdom", and notice Jesus says "When HE (Jehovah)" created this or that, he was beside him and became a Master Worker.

In verse 10 is the voice of a TRUMPET who says he is Alpha and Omega, in verse 15 Jesus has the voice of Many Waters, and Jesus talks for a few chapters, then at chapter 4 it goes back to the FIRST voice (which claimed Alpha and Omega) and says "the first voice I heard...of a trumpet...said.."
So there is a distinction between the voice of Jesus and God!

In the verses you are talking about, that is an angel paraphrasing the Almighty, that paraphrase ends in verse 15, and starting in verse 16 Jesus begins speaking, this is evident by the words "I, Jesus...".
Jesus and Jehovah share many titles, Almighty and Alpha and Omega is not included in them.

Baha'is believe that Jesus was crucified and physically died on the cross but that the Sprit of Chist is eternal and cannot be killed. So we agree with the Koran that Christ did not die on the cross, but rather His Spirit ascended unto God when His body died. Christians and Baha'is agree that some things in the Bible are to be taken literally and some things figuratively.

1 Corinthians 8:6 says there is one Father and one Jesus, they are separate.
John 5:19, 6:38, and 7:16 all show that Jesus is inferior to his Father and like a child he strives to do the will of his Father and mirror his qualities.
Luke 22:42 also shows Jesus saying not for his own will to take place, but the Father's will, so they are separate.
Mark 13:32 shows Jesus had limited knowledge of the end times.
Acts 5:31 and Philippians 2:9 show Jesus being exalted by his God.

Terrible interpretation. Yahweh says He is the first and the last in Isaiah 44:6 (and many other places). Jesus was obviously claiming to be Yahweh. It is so obvious that the Bible teaches the deity of Jesus. When will Muslims admit this? All the New Testament writers knew Jesus is God and created the universe. Jesus is described as the creator of all things/the world in: John 1:3, 10, Col 1:16, Hebrews 1:2.
Why can't Muslims say, "Yes, the Bible says Jesus is God, but I disagree."?

@ETHANGELIST Please read my previous comments, concerning the title "Fist and Last" this is an expression defining certain characteristics of both Yahweh and Jesus, Jesus explains in Revelation 1:18 what his title refers to, he is the first from the dead, and he is King forevermore. When first and last is mentioned for Jehovah it refers to him being the first before ALL (including Jesus) and the last because he has no end. Please remember these are titles not names!

Jesus was applying the unique title of "the first and the last" of Yahweh to Himself, therefore Jesus is claiming to be Yahweh. @ETHANGELIST He never claimed to be Alpha and Omega in Rev 1:8 notice in the previous verse it ended in Amen. Nowhere in verse 8 does it give that as being said by Jesus or attributed to Jesus.
Verse 10 says God's voice is as a trumpet, verse 15 shows Jesus' voice as many waters, then reading on to chapter 4 starting in verse 1 you will see that the original voice speaking to John was that of the Almighty, please do your research into the scripture on what I am saying before commenting back.

BUT Rev 22:13 is definitely Jesus speaking and He says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
The Lord God says He is the Alpha and the Omega in Rev 1:8 and Jesus says He is the Alpha and the Omega in Rev 22:13.

The person with the voice of a trumpet in Rev 1:10 is Jesus not the Father. In verse 12, John turns to the One speaking to Him and in verse 13, it is the Son of Man and then Jesus says "I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!" in Rev 1:18. So your interpretation was totally wrong.

It is simply this: John hears a voice, he turns to look, at first seeing Jesus and the lampstands, and converses with Jesus (who is the voice of many waters, NOT a trumpet), then continuing on in chapter 4 where he left off before, he explains that the "First voice" of a trumpet invites him on up into heaven please read it in full. @ETHANGELIST (Continued..) Rev 22:13 is NOT "definitely" Jesus! Who spoke these words? The angel! What does Rev 1:1 say? This is a revelation from GOD, which he gave to Jesus, and signified it by his angel, don't forget that. Starting in verse 16 of chapter 22 Jesus begins speaking for HIMSELF (and not before that verse as it describes explicitly at the start "I, Jesus..") and this is after the Alpha and Omega verses which are quoted from the Angel and not directed TO Jesus. Study please..

@TruthSeekingOne Rev 22:12-13 says, “Behold, I AM COMING QUICKLY, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (NASB)
And then verse 20 says, "He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I AM COMING QUICKLY.” Amen. Come, Lord JESUS."
Jesus says, "I am coming quickly" in verse 20 and "someone" says the SAME thing in verse 12.
It is obvious to me Jesus is the one in verse 12-13.

@ETHANGELIST Are you asking for my doctrine or my religious affiliation? Asking for my doctrinal beliefs would be quite lengthy and require a Personal Message, on the other hand my religious affiliation tends mostly towards Jehovah's Witnesses but I am not baptized nor do I completely agree with all of their doctrine to the fullest.
Rev 4:1 is absolutely not of Jesus as the vision describes Jesus in chapter 1 and John continues on past Jesus up into the heavens in the midst of the Father.

Well can you explain to me how Jesus can be described as the creator of the universe in the Bible (John 1:3, 10, Col 1:16, Heb 1:2, 1Cor 8:6) and yet not be Yahweh in light of what Yahweh says in Isaiah 44:24?
" Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, “I, the LORD, am the maker of all things,
Stretching out the heavens by Myself
And spreading out the earth all alone, " (Isaiah 44:24, NASB)

I know you don't want Jesus to be God according to the Bible, but in my opinion it is so painfully obvious to both myself and billions of Christians throughout human history. I really hope you will find the truth. If you really love the truth, as your name suggests, you must be open minded about this.

@ETHANGELIST What do you mean I don't want Jesus to be God? I know Jesus is a God, the word Elohim translates God in English from the Hebrew but literally means a ruler. Acts 5:31 and Philippians 2:9 both show that the Father puts Jesus into a superior position and gives him Authority to rule the earth, so obviously Jesus is a God in that sense alone (now there are also many more reasons to see why Jesus is a God). The thing I am challenging is whether or not he is the Almighty God. (Cont.)

So as for Jesus being a God and also helping his Father with creation, these are perfectly scriptural as far as I can see and does not contradict my beliefs and here is why, creation is done by means of the Holy Spirit, (In Genesis it is literally the word "Breath" in Hebrew which denotes God's spirit.) so the Father can give holy spirit to whom he wishes, which he obviously does give to Jesus, the Father ALONE gives the ability to create to Jesus, read Proverbs 8:12-31!

@TruthSeekingOne So you believe the Father gave a creature the ability to create. So can you explain to me how Yahweh cannot be a liar in Isaiah 44:24 in light of this belief of yours? How can Yahweh say He ALONE created ALL THINGS BY HIMSELF, and yet your beliefs be biblically true?
Another question: do you believe the Father glorifies the Son (read John 17:5)?

@ETHANGELIST No one knows for sure to what extent Jesus aided in creation, but we know he did. We know also for sure the Jehovah initiated all creation without Jesus (there is no possible way Jesus could have initiated all creation when Jesus is himself a part of creation). Proverbs 8 gives us some details of what it was like in the early creation with Jesus being called "Wisdom", and notice Jesus says "When HE (Jehovah)" created this or that, he was beside him and became a Master Worker.

@ETHANGELIST (Continuted..) So it can be said without a doubt that Jehovah himself created all things, and even anything that Jesus could help Jehovah create, it is always by the Power of Jehovah that anything is created, Jesus can not create on his own without the spirit of the Father.
Of course I believe the Father glorifies the son, and I know what you are implying that the Father shares his glory with no one, but these two are not in contradiction and I will explain why..

@ETHANGELIST (Continued..) So we know the Father has the glory and the praise for being the creator of the universe, to no one else will he give the credit for that, he shares that glory with no one. What about the word glory though? Can anyone besides Jehovah have glory for anything else and will Jehovah recognize their glory and he himself give them a pat on the back so to speak (glory)? Well yes he would and this is verified by scripture, this does not detract from his own glory in any way

@ETHANGELIST So notice he will not share HIS glory with anyone else, but if Jesus does something worthy of glory, Jehovah will "glorify" him, and there is no contradiction here, you are simply being tripped up by the word usage here. So why is Jesus worthy of Glory, the following verses there in John 17 answer that, “I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world. They were yours, and you gave them to me, and they have observed your word..."

Dr. Zakir Naik fails in this video to show the true meaning of the text in Revelation. It is not Jesus who claims to be Alpha and Omega EVER!
In verse 10 is the voice of a TRUMPET who says he is Alpha and Omega, in verse 15 Jesus has the voice of Many Waters, and Jesus talks for a few chapters, then at chapter 4 it goes back to the FIRST voice (which claimed Alpha and Omega) and says "the first voice I heard...of a trumpet...said.."
So there is a distinction between the voice of Jesus and God!

@TruthSeekingOne Dear if you are reading the scripture pls go further and read Revelation 22:12-13 then after that go to JOHN 14:9..Pray and ask God there is nothing wrong asking Our Father ,my brother God is about Love and Forgiveness ..He loves us so much that he came down as a MAN .thats y he corrected philip that why are you asking to show the father[God] he says who has seen me has seen the God the father..let Spirit of God guide us ..

@gaurav07christ I have read Revelation 22, I have read the entire book of Revelation, it is very plain to see that Jesus and the Almighty are separated from one another. In the verses you are talking about, that is an angel paraphrasing the Almighty, that paraphrase ends in verse 15, and starting in verse 16 Jesus begins speaking, this is evident by the words "I, Jesus...".
Jesus and Jehovah share many titles, Almighty and Alpha and Omega is not included in them.
Jesus is submissive to his God.
