У каждого инструмента есть свой особый тембр, регистр, и свои особенности, которые и позволяю исполнять оту музыку, которая свойственна именно этому инструменту. У балалайки, несомненно, есть свои преимущества, но и есть области, где она "слаба". Например, она совершенно не может соперничать с аккустической гитарой в жанре фламенко.
