i'm having bad spikey problems in my counter strike source gaming , which i dun think that internet nor my grahic card or bug . When i press quit game or disconnect , it would hang a few seconds like 5 or 6 and then disconnect . Any help i can hear from you? i'm using a 2gb ram and tried alot of ''Making your computer run faster'' solutions but none of it works. Do i need to purchase upgrade ram or what else?

Question: If Vista is so bad...which I constantly hear that it is...then WHY don't they fix it??? ( patch or update or whatever it takes)...I dont get it, seems easy to me.

it's not that easy dude...i suppose you don't have much knowledge in programming software to say so.It need a hell of a lot to make software like Windows,Linux etc and make them usable and good enough to sell them to millions of PC users.But look at this: most people didn't like Windows Vista,so Microsoft came up so soon with windows 7. I think it's the easiest way to get how difficult,time-demanding,money­-wasting and useless it would be to remake Vista...

dude i need ur help or anyones help!! because my Test Drive Unlimited wont work the troubleshooter told me to delete all my REG_BINARY files in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>SYSTEM>Moun­tedDevices and after reboot they will re show and my game will run but now my desktop wont even load it gets to the blue screen just before my desktop shows and i can move my mouse and all that but thats it and i cant do the F8 thing cos i got a G15 and the fucking drivers wont load so i cant run in safe mode...HEEEEEEELP!!!

Well, If you can't run it in Command Prompt, or Safe Mode... You're screwed. Just take it in to the god damn store. Or, you could try to reinstall Windows, using a disk.

would you mind elaborating further on the 'data items' to the right hand side of the registry folder hierarchy?

i've had a look and there seems to be several choices/ options such as: 'key, string value, binary value' etc etc.

what are their purpose, differences...

I have had a couple of Macs and loved 'em both! And now the Mac is running on Intel hardware with a Linux operating system. I've been tempted by a dual-boot (or even triple-boot) Mac (Mac, Linux, and Windows), but the price-performance of an Intel-based PC with plain ol' Linux is hard to beat!

I feel (and share) your pain! I too am plagued with a Windows Vista machine. Short of buying a Mac or switching to Linux there are not many alternatives. I'm so tired of permission boxes popping up! Anyway, you might try Googling for "Windows Vista administrator account" (with or without quotes). With the real admin. account you can disable some of the irritations. The "Home" version is the worst, but other versions cost more. Let me know if there's something specific! --SDB--

This man was telling me that the new operating systems have tracking systems built in and so on a so forth... So maybe if you wanted to stay away from those kind of things.
