Also the battle of Britain had turkey shoots on both sides, as this is an attack against Britain the German bombers are going to take it as much as they give it.

My problem with this is that real British pilots will tell you that it WAS NOT EASY to do what they did at all, especially against the Luftwaffe. That is why the Battle of Britain was and is a major part of WWII. I think that this video was made by someone showing off the game and its beauty not for historical accuracy.

@lukewilliams010 The first and foremost thing that saved the Brits was the fact that they sit on an island, otherwise the Wehrmacht would have just rolled through as they did in every other country before. And humiliatingly, the Brits werent the top scorers in their own air force during the Battle of Britain, the foreigners were (Poles, Czechs, etc.)

@VIKINGxDNA speed isn't everything, especially in a dogfight. the me262 is great at making high speed slashing attacks, but if he gets suckered into a turning fight, most prop-based fighters will fly circles around him and tear him apart.

If that Me262 makes a dive attack on you in a p-51, for example, and he misses (overshooting you by a mile), he'll try to climb past you back up to high cover. He has the speed to do it, sure, but you've got at least one good shot at him while he does so. And considering the fragility of those early junkers turbines, it can be enough to disable him.

I am wondering if it is possible to create missions where you get a chance to just fly around and enjoy the scenery, and flying the plane without being thrown immediately into combat. Also, I would be hoping to have the option of take offs and landings in some such missions.
@DiGiTaLdAzEDM You can go to training and set no enemies but the max enemies you can SETUP is 16. otherwise you have to do a mission. In most missions and training you CAN take off. And if you land your plane gets repaired.
At 1:08 I like how you very clearly shoot the guy down but then take out his other engine - while he is already in the process of crashing - just for good measure.
