  • I've been soooo looking for this, he did this on the Tonight Show--what classic comedy!!! Thanks so much!!!

  • He is also so funny as Luther on Coach!

  • This is Jerry Van Dyke's most famous routine from his niteclub act that originally also included his Lone Ranger & Tonto and tells you the age of the bit. He's performed Mule Train for decades to the landmark Frankie Laine/Mitch Miller recording. Like the vaudeville routines that were performed hundreds of times by Abbott & Costello and Lewis & Martin and then recreated on film this shows how experience really can't be replaced.

  • dat was great love big jimmy...lolXD

  • Jerry is a genius!! This is a great, great clip!! Great bit!!! Love it!

  • Here is my question. And maybe somebody knows. I know Jerry did this skit a long time ago. But did Kaufman do Mighty Mouse first? Whoever did it first should be credited, because the other is kind of a copy.

  • I did some research, and found out that Van Dyke was doing this in the 50s, way before Kaufman. So credit Jerry to some of Kaufman's genius.

  • hes a lunatic i love it
