  • MBJ, they sure do not grow on trees. : (

  • It's a shame that more of the songs of Ides of March didn't get more airplay. They had some good songs besides "Vehicle". We never heard any of these other songs in the Cleveland market, which was a big breakout market back in the 60s. On a different note, are any of the members of the band still around and if so, what are the odds of a reunion concert tour?

  • This one isn`t bad but check out Roller Coaster by the same group. Much better and a minor midwest hit about the same time.

  • Sounds like the Monkees...

  • Love the music, but am not feeling the imagery. Sorry, why not the album cover instead that? Oh, well...

  • I really do not like to just put a singular image on a video. It is just the photo bug in me.

    Sorry.

  • @garageband66 I have to apologize, but it's just that I have never heard of these bands and I'm really, really loving it. I was born at the tail end of the 60s and so missed out on this decade. I really do appreciate you making this available.

  • @Khultan I hear ya! Not to put garageband66 down (and I'm not bud, much respect to you for posting this gem of a song), but I come across video after video of old rock songs that uses MODERN images of guys and chicks and it JUST-DOESN'T-WORK! There's something about the way people LOOK NOWADAYS that just doesn't fit the music of the past.

  • First time I ever hearing of this one,not bad..

  • It was released on Parrot records which was a smaller label of London Records. Vehicle was on a different label, I believe.

Tom Jones also recorded some on the Parrot label.

  • you do need wood to make a girl

  • Some girls might argue with that. After being married 28 years, I can tell you there is so much more to that kind of love than "wood".

  • I think some girls in the Southeast grow on trees. Ever hear of a Georgia peach ?

  • Hear of them? I was born in Athens. By the way, South Carolina is well-known for their peaches. I married one. I have traveled to many places and there is no better girls/women than Southern belles.

  • There are better phone companies than Southern Bell though, I mean, be fair, we can all agree to that! :-)
