  • My god, was passing more than 30 years by the last listen.. my 14 years age (g)old. Still wanderfull.

  • Great !

  • I listen to a lot of hard rock and metal, but this is awesome. So funky!

  • I saw this group twice: first in 1982, then in 2006! They had become a duet: replaced the male lead, but the younger female of the two original singers was still there. Still great to see and hear (although they refused to sing "Don't tell me tell her")

  • "Paua oouaarancì, Irà chiyeah, Ishé galé ma ba oo ah"

dialecte yoruba parlé dans la corne d'Afrique (Bénin, Nigéria)

"we will always remember, the land of our forefathers"

nous nous souviendrons toujours, la terre de nos ancêtres

  • Not a great fan of the isco-sound, but this was not a bad song, much of the era, was unfortunately co-mingled with R&B, which killed many careers!

  • Great song! =)

  • Toujours le même plaisir à chaque écoute

  • Folks! I have post this song before and it always remember me of the days. There nothing like the era of the 60s, 70s and the 80s. TIME IS GREAT. Going back to my root.

  • The first thing he sings sounds like Dutch: friet met appelmoes. Which means: Fries with applesauce.

  • OK-1977. NYC. Hey you all. Remember when we all really got along! Black, white boys(ITALIANO) Puerto Ricans. Other Hispanics. NYC, Jersey City, Union City, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Newark, West New York, loved it all> Dance baby dance.!

    Big Daddy

  • @bigdaddysc1958 Im from England,,but what a brilliant statement made by bigdaddy,,,back in the day dont think we cared what colour or creed you were... if you loved the music and loved dancing you were part of a massive club that no one could take on,,lets all get back to the 70s and early 80s when all that mattered was the music,,,and it didnt come any better than buying an Odyssey 12 inch in some very strange coloured vinyl,,peace out to all disco lovers

  • @bigdaddysc1958 Hispanics and Puerto Ricans are NOT a race lol. Many of them in NYC were and still are racially BLACK lmao

  • @bigdaddysc1958 That's the year I was born... And overall New York is a helluva lot more tolerant than the rest of America today, and probably forever. You can't live in a place like NYC and be intolerant and get away with it. People there don't take that shit, and ALL of America shouldn't take that shit.

  • ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AWESOME!!!! OH HOW I WISH I WAS 10 yrs OLDER, COULD HAVE GROOVED TO THIS LIVE. :-/

  • @poweranabols09 Well how I wish I had been 10 years YOUNGER when this came out as I would STILL be grooving to it now. Great tune

  • good remember of the eightees, adorable and unforgettable

  • the band's name is misspelt though...too bad for the uploader's language ability...it doesn't change the quality of the song

  • I remember listening to this song as a Kid! The Yoruba in this song is an Orlando Julius favourite of mine....lol

  • 2words.bass line!

  • this song is so funny like like a bowss

  • Wow :)

  • disco fever ...moving already :P

  • music of 2000 is pure shi.t

  • I grew up listening to this song and the beats and instruments back in those days are original.

  • great!

  • So cool!! Excuse my language but FUCK SKIN COLOUR..Its somthing for insecure people to hide behind!!

  • How can you stand still when you hear this......no matter where you are!!!!

  • The 1960s & 1970s Taught Everybody How To Get-Up & Dance, What Happened Though, For The Most Part We Don't Seem To Dance Much Anymore, Maybe A Sign Of The Times. Who Knows? Peace To All!

  • The Great Barry White Once Stated Shortly Before He Moved On, That The Music Of The 1960s & 1970s & Early 1980s Would Never Be Duplicated, I Agree That Era Was The Greatest Era Of/For Music On This Planet. Ever!

  • @THEMETAPHY .....he got that right...

  • @THEMETAPHY Totally agree. Although with the current state of music today you can really appreciate the 80s and early 90s.

  • @NickBalto1 In Truth I Meant too Actually say the Music-All From The 1960s-1970s-1980s Even Most of the 1990s will Be Our Best Ever (see; Greatest) Eras for Music on this Earth 4 Sure,Yes There is Enough of It so for Us too Be Enjoying Forever so., Despite All of the Remixing and Remakes of Whatever. Be Well.

  • @THEMETAPHY Amén!!

  • @THEMETAPHY

George Michael said basically the same thing, only that the 80's were a leftover and that he was glad that he'd at least got to be part of that since he missed the 70's

  • If this doesn't make you happy , nothing will .

  • awesome classic, and brings back a lot of good memories from a time when life was so so much simpler
