  • That is my Mama and my Aunt...they were the Arend's sisters! How wonderful to see this clip. I know there is a NewsReel clip of the team also out there because i saw it in a movie theater way back when.

  • @wyfolm I never heard of them just heard their names being nominated into the hall of fame. I wish I had the privilage to see them. They stated they were referred to as the female Harlem Globetrotter. I will look for more info on them. Its a shame they just getting recognized they set the standard in a mans world to make a path for women to play against themselves cause back then we had to play against men or boys. I hope they get selected. you should be proud. let the kno how I feel. Bravo!!!

  • I believe this to be 1947-48. Gene Love, Hazel Reynolds and looks like both Arrends sisters. Think I saw Hazel Walker as well.
