I LOVE THIS GAME!!! I had one copy that ended up breaking cause of my little cousin so I got another one. I wouldn't let anyone touch it. I played it alot. I beat it 30 times total. @MoonknightX9 to me, the CPU was WAAAAAAAY too stupid, which made races very unexciting, ruining the flow of the game. the second game kinda corrected it and made the levels more challenging with even sharper CPU, so it didn't feel like a Sonic Drift rip-off stuck on easy mode. just forget Free Riders. bad controls, terrible story telling, character derailment (except for Sonic and Tails). it was just a mess of a series.

It's kind of ashame the sequels completely went off the original format....zero gravity lacked speed and any real intense action and was just highly disapointing. You couldn't freely boost, attack and you have to level up just to get your character's ability(grind, fly, power). I've never played free riders and i probably never will so nothing to say about that one.

gets boring very easy i have botrh sonic riders and zero gravity both are very easy to beat dont take long at all the story modes only have aboyut 10 to 16 parts in each sounds like a decent bit but its the same tracks over and over so no not to good if your looking for a long addicting game

@TheOtherSun I know this is a really late reply (2 years late :O) but if you haven't yet played the game, it depends. it is a Sonic Spinoff and you can really tell that, if you are a big fan of Sonic, you may be a little unsatisfied with this game, if you are a moderate Sonic fan you will likely enjoy it if you like games like the SSX series, and if your not a Sonic fan you may also find some of it enjoyable, but it's alot less likely. all and all, I as a fan of Sonic give it a 7.5/10.

Average stuff really. The intro explodes in your face like some kind of epic anime (it really is an epic intro) but when you play the game it's muted stuff.

Loose controls, stupid mechanics and repeated level templates. Stick with Sonic Generations for you Sonic needs and F-Zero GX for you racing needs. Seriously, buy F-Zero GX now!!
