Hyundai Getz 1.1 with K&N filter

try use 15 inch not bad 1.1m mine can go up to 180 km/hr rpm stay at 5000

Would like to check by changing the stock filter to the K&N , how much differences does it make, in your opinion and experience, anything else u change to increase the RPM?

@Kuganryde I've noticed better breathing overall, especially on 4000rpm+, but the engine seems to loose a bit the low end torque.

@matesmrioslav it is easy, you just have to remove the filter box and put the conical filter with a small hose on the intake. It takes around 30 minutes to do this.

ive done 160 yesterday all stock with old oil and clogged up air filter , ive had a tune up today and will try again tomorrow... btw my 165 60 14 stock tires can get very dodgy at speeds of 140 upwards

I reach around 160 too, but it sure takes a looooong stretchh of road! :-P

I've changed my tyres to 175/55R14, the same size specified on the user's manual and it makes a world of a difference.

i got new Rota gt3 black rims with chrome lip. 195 50 15. almost light as the stock rim 14. more grip when doing 160km

BTW, I'm now using 98 octane petrol in it, and it shows some more horses hidden under the hood compared with 95 octane petrol.

yes it save but you should not drive at high rpm when you drive about 2500/3000 rpm it little bit save petrol (not much just little bit) ... i tested it ... (have sf sprintfilter)

This car is no bullet - nor it's supposed to be - but the little gain was worth the investment, and it uses less petrol.
