  • Does this bike use a clear gasoline or mixure with oil? :) Need reply pls... its a very nice bike and i plan to buy one!:D

  • @Vajsmilan They use clear gasonline since it's a four-stroke engine :)

Only two-stroke engines use oil mixture.

  • @MoePower2 0:14 its very fun bike to RIDE!!!! :)))

  • i have nothing to comments ....it's just lovely

  • you have really inspired me to restore and customise my SR125 (1999). I got mine second hand and it came with years of poor treatment and dents. I have poured my heart and contents of my wallet into my SR125. I am going to ride from London to Cornwall and back again in the summer. Thanks for inspiring me mate.

  • I just bought a 1991 SR 125, excellent bike.

  • They make such a decent noise for a 125!

  • Woo! Mine's coming on Thursday! Sept, it's the 2002 version. Went to check it out today and it looks ace!

  • just bought yammy sr custom i love it i just started riding and it is so easy to get used too my mate bought a better 125/20 and it isnt that great i love my yammy :):):)

  • i just bought one of these. tryna insure but need some advice.. so help me people.. do i get fully comp or 3rd party fire n theft?? need any advice as i know nothing about insurance

  • 3rd party fire and theft if u intend to move up to a bigger bike but fully comp if u dont

  • you should make a bobber out of this bike

  • hey nice video i have a SR125 too it is a super bike and it works every time^^

  • Any tips on restoring? To be honest, I have no clues about bikes. My brother gave me his, he neglected it for years and now it doesn't work, I have no idea where to even begin. Maybe find out what's wrong with it professionally first, but I'd love to learn and turn it into a project.

  • I have a sr125 too, and I love my bike. It's easy to drive. It's from 1996. Girls love my sr125 too =D

  • this bike bought me from Vosges (France) to Snowdonia (Wales) => 3950 km !

  • Thats great!

  • the sr 125 was my biggest bike as always had honda 50/80 in my bike days

  • Yes, as a sr125-driver I can completely agree with you. Always working, easy to drive, comfortable and also sportive is this bike.

I am going to spend my two weeks of holidays with it: Driving from Switzerland to England, going to discover this country and driving back.

  • @schmiditwo i can also just agree with that :) i'm going to ride my '89 to sweden/finland and back this summer... from switzerland, too :)

the SR 125 really is a dream-bike among all 125cc's

  • @purpleGoAhead i bought last year a honda transalp. because of this and that i have to repair the engine of my sr, i am currently not a active sr driver ;) currently. ah, so you go to sweden/finland, i planned to go to norway north cape.

its good to hear that not every biker goes to south (france, italy ) in holidays. north is just more fun, less traffic, less speed camers, less crime, less strange people, ... ;)

  • i learnt to drive with a sr 125, its really soft

  • I have a Yamaha sr125 in my garage in need of repair after i came off it. This video has convinced me that its worth restoring to its former glory again. Thanks for the inspiration.

  • it's a really nice bike... :D

  • Stupid car driver + junction = lots of pain for me!

I'd just changed the spark plugs and spent hours cleaning the winters rust of the exhaust as well :(.

  • Yeah, thats a shame!

  • Great bike, i wrote mine off in 2007 broke both my legs, a foot, and my wrist. Was off my feet for ages. Still recovering now 0o.

  • Wow, I think I was a bit luckier than you then!

    What happend?

  • jævlig feet sykkel da, men synd at du kresja...

  • Hehe, ja

  • nice!:D

  • I did my CBT on an SR125 and it was great fun. It seemed kinda quick too, that was probably because i'd never rode a motorbike before that though lol I need to save up some money and get one of these :D

  • for the muffler i only changed the end of the original and it sounds great in person :)

  • And I just cut all of it of ;)

No muffler, only a pipe that came out under the engine/behind the right foot-pad (or what it is called)

  • bless her, i hav also got a sr 125, and yes they r a lovely bike to drive. Nice video. But i do like the exhaust notes at the end.

  • Yes, the sound is loud in person!

Something totally different from this video.

There are no muffler at all under there.

I will fix some sort of muffler some time, but my idea is to still get a pretty deep sound.
