I don't think they will patch this, this kind of takes advantage of the AI where-as the REAL glitch they are targetting is the infinite souls and humanities glitch. I think this method is ok because you actually put some effort into getting souls, and the reward tails off after about SL50.
@PoodleMaster67 Yeah, I don't think this is a priority. As soon as you hit like around SL60 it is much faster to fight them head on than do this, assuming you have good weapon by then.
@SwitchingOff oh phew.. this is the only way I get to actually level up in a while.. they wont die permanently right? and is there a way to actually talk to them and stuff?
@Kazumaster This strategy is kinda helpful at first, as I assume you are already at a very high SL and have good equipment. When I went here at SL 23 and only had the first Warrior set, Drake Sword and Crest Shield, and now I'm SL 75. I too stumbled on this while running for dear life, I then search about it on the internet and stumbled here.
There is also a Stone Knight Set up ahead, just keep left till you go to a ruin then follow the stairs down. Then go left and you'll see that chest on the side.
u need 20,000 souls just to get here u need to farm in the burg. and buy the crest from the blacksmith in the church to get access to this area, u will prob be about level 20-35 before u can get here

dam, thats a good strategy. I generally just parry and riposted all of them while wearing my hornets ring, but this is a much faster route.
