40GB ps3 is very basic, and i seriouslly dont reccomend for any serious gamers or if u liket o download alot of stuff, cuz i think it comes with like 35GB of space or somthing like that, you could probably fit like 5 demos and a couple of movies on that, and second of all, no Sd card readers, no chrome finish (if u really care) 2 usb ports and no ps2 backwards compatibility, all ps3's r like that now, but they had the 80GB back then, and it was much better than the 40GB imo

lemme tell u some things , about the 40 gb and the 60 gb , coz i got the 60 gb and my brothers son got a 40 gb , so besdies the bigger hdd , u get the mini sd readers and all dat , u get 4 usb ports , but there are some differnces too , you know the ps logo on the ps3 ? u know the small thing ?that moves ? yh that silver think that holds it ? the 60 GB has it slighty , brighter and u can see ur face in it , but the 40 gb dosnt , :S !
