  • Obama took part in a filibuster to keep the Fannie Mae Bankers from being “regulated”: online.wsj.com/article/SB122212948811465427.html

...the policy of de-”regulation” which Obama today, ironically, says caused the recession.

McCain favored the regulation; see last link.

Obama caused recession to benefit Fannie Mae lobbyists Thomas Donilon, Ron Klain, & Democrat execs Raines, Gorelick, RAHM EMANUEL & Daley!

  • Great job by the way.

  • 100 or so more banks are going to fail, also world wide banks are going to fail.

  • Deregulation of the banks started with Reagan's deregulation. He's responsible for bankers being able to become crooks. We should have learned after Savings and Loans crisis. But no. We reap what we sow. Put Banking Regulation back in our Governing.

  • Republicans have done unbelievable damage to our country over the last 8 years and I don't want them to continue. When Clinton left the presidency, we had a surplus, now that idiot Bush is leaving the office, we have a major deficit and will likely end up in a depression. Democrats are definitely better for our country. Republicans party should be dismantled.

  • agreed

  • Your costume is soo creepy!

    I love it!

  • thanks. it doesn't work so well when I'm trying to make a withdrawal from the bank, or buying a six pack late at night.

  • well said

  • Thank you for exposing what Phil Gramm really is - America's Biggest Whiner and Wimp. Phil Gramm helps cause the problem then he crybabies about people being upset. I can see Phil Gramm was the guy who got sand throw at him on the beach.

  • This is apart of the powers that be's plan. Wall street became thier piggy bank. They and the CEOs collected billions. They knew that eventualy the bottom would fall outthe products banks sold were setup to emplode, leaving the americans holding the bag. We've become thier little piggy bank

  • Despite John McCain supporting the same deregulation that caused this mess he now turns around and blames Obama for this mess.

  • I am wondering why the democrats in Congress do support Bush's 700 Billion deal. It obviously means the cancelling of the tax-debts for those who have not paid taxes for 8 years. It means the coming democrat-government and the workers will have to go on paying those debts. Don't let that happen! Let the rich pay.

B.t.w.: someday the USA will have to pay back their debts to the poor countries. Will be about 10.000 Billion. Not to forget the reparations to Vietnam, Iraq, Guatemala, ...

  • As of saturday, congressional leader knew nothing about the deal. there are no details yet. henry paulson and ben bernanke haven't finished it yet.

but the AIG deal means that the debt is not erased. It was MOVED. The taxpayers are now deeper in debt.

If we're going to nationalize some awful companies, how about exxon-mobil and conoco-phillips? They're at least making money.

  • Bush is asking for the money. I haven't heard that Congress is going to give it to him.

  • P.S. Have a beer!!

  • yeah, while we still can. before too long, we'll be drinking that fake happoshu beer they sell in Japan. Hershey's is taking the cocoa butter out of a lot of its chocolates.. it now has to be labeled "chocolate candy" instead of "milk chocolate". kind of like how velveeta is "cheese food" instead of "cheese". I don't believe velveeta is food, either.

I guess I'm trying to say "John McCain practices Velveeta economics"

wait, isn't 'Velveeta' the name of Sarah Palin's 2nd daughter?

  • I thought is was bristol... is that the preggo one?

I'll still be making beer at my house though! And it'll be real!

I find it funny how the republicans are running from their own party now. McCain just switched his stance on deregulation. Apparently he is seeing something in socialism he hasn't before!

  • People are too retarded to see this. lol

  • The notion of unregulated capitalism is now a historical footnote...or it should be.

The bust out of the US is nearing completion.
