I love the quality of this recording. I would like to know what interface and DAW was used in this recording though, as it certainly helped bring this song into the professional sounding realm!

@Vertent Thanks very much. I use Apple's Logic Pro 8 and the interface is M-Audio ProjectMix I/O. The microphone is M-Audio Nova, The guitar is Fender Stratocaster, The bass guitar is a Fender Jazz, The drums are Roland V-Drums TD-3 Kit and there's a few software instruments. The most notable one is the piano at the beginning which is Abbey Road Plug Ins Challen Grand Piano as used by The Beatles. Thanks for your comment

I like the piece, but it's a shame that you can't upload a higher quality version. I bet this would be nice to listen to at optimal quality. The vocalist has a very appealing voice!

You have the Nova listed as one of the mics used on this recording. Do you have any comments about that mic from your experience using it? For an $80.00 mic, it seems to yield some very nice results!

@djekdlejae Thanks for watching and listening, and for your positive feedback. I'm very happy with the Nova. I wasn't expecting the sound quality to be as good for the price I paid for it. I have to say that everything I have bought from M-Audio has been well worth the money. I suppose you could easily get caught up in buying microphones for €500+. I know there is a difference because you get what you pay for but I think the Nova is a good example of 'cheaper price' not being 'cheaper quality'

really nice, but I think there's no presence enough on the lead vocal, it seems far, it just it's not perfect (nothing is perfect, anyway) but it's a really good work of record, mix and video editing, very nice

Thanks for watching! And thanks for your comments. The song was recorded in 24bit using Logic Pro and (obviously) converted to 16bit for CD. Unfortunately it had to be compressed into MP3 format for web-streaming so the quality that you hear is well below the quality of the original recording. If you hear the CD quality version I think you would be happy with the presence on the lead vocal. Again, many thanks for watching and your comments. Very much appreciated
