I live in zamboanga City! It's a peaceful place, and Our major religion here is Catholic don't judge the book by its cover! Zamboanga has many potential, We have a mini like, boracay here the Santa Cruz Island, and Our language is Creole Spanish/Chavacano, most of the people here are very respectful, educated and very welcoming... those Bandits-terrorist they are not from Zamboanga City they only come in Zamboanga because Zamboanga is the biggest City nearby their Islands,

@kevmain Hey man, I used a Sony CyberShot for this trip. I have a Cannon 1200IS now that's way better and about the same price with good HD video as well. You can find a good deal for it on Amazon. I love Mindanao and it's people so much. It was my favorite trip by far and I've been all over the place lol. Going back in December myself :)

do you mean that your moving back to your home in Ozamiz? Take it all in for me. I envy you lol. I'll just rough it here in Hawaii til December haha.

thanks for commenting. a few of the pictures are from cantilan and lanuza, but she's from tandag. they always wanted to se cantilan and lanuza so we made the trip. there's also pictures of a little island in that area we went to. some really good memories..

it never ceases to amaze me the negative press that Mindanao recieves regarding war and danger...those territories are tiny compared to the rest of the largest PR island...yes, mindanao is the largest contiguous land mass on the archepelago, larger indeed than Luzon. Come to mindanao and spend your money!!!

I agree axlekratt..Maybe one day. We can only hope things change. Although I don't see it soon. But def agree Mindanao is nice. Places like Zamboanga, Davoa, Gensan and Misamis Occidental. I wanna see those places. Specially Mis Occ I was from there..

@axlekraft Mindano is becoming more dangerous by the day especially in cagayan de ora and zamboanga.Don't kid yourself.In the south the islamic schools teach the kids its their homeland that has been taken off them by the christians and they must take it back whatever the cost.

The hostage taking of westernerns or money men is rampant and only a fool believes its safe.Even the luzon filipinos are scared to go there.
