You can't even beat this enemy with an Aeon at all. Once it goes into it's shell, at 1,000,000 HP damage done to it (in which it has 3,000,000 left) it will Regen in numbers sometimes 200,000+ a tick, until full, and then come back out. Meaning you need a multi-hit overdrive to beat its arse. No aeon has this. and yeah... nice numbers on your characters, 5 str on Yuna? Shiva would be doing 6 dmg a hit. I smell cheats~

How much is regenned depends on how fast you move. A single aeon, max agility, haste, standard length action gives the 62000 regen seen here.

Via the Aeon's Soul. You will be able to use stat spheres to improve an aeon's stats directly (HP and MP too) and you can use items to teach them abilities like Black Magic or Cheer and stuff.

If you wanna increase an aeon's stats, aside from leveling yuna up, you have to go to Remiem Temple and battle and defeat Belgimine(sp?) once (IOW beat her Valefor). She'll give you an item that lets you buff up your aeons stats by using basic spheres. I don't know if you need to be able to use the airship or not though.

If you use Attack Reels for ~99,999 per hit right before he goes into his shell, you can skip the entire regen phase. Obviously, this doesn't work in NSG.
