  • Pretty sure I was watching the Kirshner show when this aired and it was one of the few times where I went out and bought the album the next day. This band should have been much bigger and Michael Schenker should have been a star.

  • こりゃかっこよすぎるわ。

  • Really good!

  • @Pacman13434 "Unleashed in the east" is Judas Priest not Scorpions, so you sir do not know what you are talking about

  • vid info showing this recording is from 1975??? wasn't it at that time, the schenker brothers with the scorpions!!!! before scorpions released in 1978 "unleased in the east" my time line is off??? have to check original Lp. or the damn net. lp in attic, lol now MSG!!! great stuff any way!!!!

  • @pacman13434 Michael Schenker left SCORPIONS after LONESOME CROW (Released 1972, Michael joined UFO in 1973 , Uli Jon Roth new debut Guitarist released SCORPS. with FLY TO THE RAINBOW,!!!

  • @AXEFLYERFV ur dead on!!! went and looked at the Lp and yes i have lonesome crow and it's like new still!, lol have the Lp's u have listed. also, did know the changing of the guard to say!!! Uli is one awesome guitar musician!!! I did question myself, it's been a long ass time in paying attention to the smaller details, fuck me!!!! (<

  • @pacman13434 I appreciate stoping by ,tuning in & comment, I could be dead on on here but on other stuff, I can't remember what I did 2 days ago, LOL!

you have a good one man!

    Peace!!

  • I saw these guys on October 27, 1977 at Robinson Auditorium in Little Rock, Arkansas. I still have the ticket stub. Rush got top billing.

  • This isn't any old darkness. This is... advanced darkness.

  • besser als SUPER !!!!

  • die jungs waren noch so jung....was die Zeit aus uns macht.....

  • The drummer's performance is quality, too!

    Just listen to him....

  • I was there in the 70's...And I wanna go back! But for those of you who weren't there, You really missed out big time...When I was a teenager in the 70's there was no classic rock, it was still new! Thank God for youtube! Now all you younger folks can go back in time and enjoy the great classic rock of the 60's and 70's. :)

  • OMG...bring back those days of long hair rockin'rollers!!!! Music needs to go "RETRO". I had a shirt just like the singer lol!!

  • @debihaley Thank you kindly for tuning in & comment!

I agree with you, RETRO !

  • @debihaley NO SHIT!!! Whats very old is very new again! Why?... this whole new genX, Y, & Z has Pop-Rap-Brain-Rot! 'F' pop crap (Michael Jackson the exception-to-the-exception, RIP, he hired Eddie VH to rock his stuff).

  • @debihaley There is a lot of "retro" music around today. You should check out Vanderbuyst's cover of Rock Bottom.

  • is the audio off on this video or is it just me

  • @muszyngr IS YOU MAN!

  • แชงเกอร์แต่งเพลงนี้ตอนอายุ 17 18 ว่ะ สุดติ่ง

  • Look at 5:25, how can they just sit there? I was was there I would go apeshit!

  • For the love of God...bring back 1975 ! ! !

  • กูรักUFO

  • Classic UFO.

  • ฟังแล้วเข้าถึงจิตวิญญาณจริงๆ

  • เยี่ยม...หว่ะ

  • i can't watch this enough!

  • สวดดดดดดดดยอด

  • gli ac/dc, ke hanno suonato insieme ai tempi di BonScott, li seppellivano proprio!!!!!! cmq. bravi.

  • History of band

  • Pete Way thought the song was too long to stand up all the way through

  • Im from the USA and see that this was on the Don Kirshner rock concert. I would watch that show every week and dont remember seeing them on there did that clip make it on American television? On another note I have to wonder what the fuck my older brothers and sisters were thinking! Why the hell werent they listening to the Scorps,UFO, Judas... too many bands back then to count who didnt make it here untill the 80s. Such B.S., shame on the 70s teenagers of the USA. You were all fucking idiots!

  • @icabodcranium How old are you now? it says , you are 23? so how old were you watching this show?

  • @AXEFLYERFV 23? Dont know how that happened. Didnt see this video till yesterday but I was 8 yrs. old in 1975. Yes the Don Kirshner Rock Concert, The Midnight Special, Sometimes Saturday Night live was our MTV! There was the Soul Train, American Bandstand and a few others also but you werent gonna see hard rock on those.

  • @icabodcranium I was about 14 when I saw this clip ,back then, yes you are correct, this was like MTV back then,,thank you for your reply!

    have a great sunday!

  • @icabodcranium

well i guess you missed this episode you whiny little fuck! Perhaps if your older sister wasn't rapeing you with your face down in the cushion you would have seen this one -lol -d-bag!

  • @AttilaThe1 Oh yes, now I remember. Its all coming back now. You were the kid down the street and my brother and his freinds were gang banging you. Was your face in the pillow? Cause I could hear you loud a clear begging for more. Even with all that cock in your mouth you were very clear. You must of had alot of practice at an early age.

  • @icabodcranium

    LMAO!

I just call 'em like I see 'em you little fagot!

For such a pathetic whiny little fuck you have some very strange fantasies about me! It must suck for you, never having seen a vagina and all ... well except for your sisters -LMFAO SMDH!

  • @AttilaThe1 Brother said youve got a sloppy ass much like your moms pussy!

  • Comment removed

  • The rape of a guitar

  • 3 years later, I saw them in Belgium... great concert, I still have the ticket!!!!!

  • UFO eres lo mejor...!

  • UFO RULES

... pretty decent cover version over here >>> watch?v=Zvx9TmMX60A

  • Awesome.

  • eargasms and much more lol

  • LOVE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • ...saw them at the starwood club in hollywood during this period...this brings back memories....thanks!

  • Great song, great performance...Where is the vintage UFO footage that is of good sound quality?

  • i find it hard to believe this vid has so many 'dislikes'. Maybe they missed the ovation after M. Schenker and co's playing. Jeez, used to watch DK's RC, but i guess i missed this one. I bought Phenomenom just after it came out,,,been a fan ever since.

    Thanx for posting !

  • มัน....ya

  • aahhhh the marshall rore!!! plexi power!!! the riff that kills. every honest metal player admits a influance from mickel shakner. and thay just got better from hear.

  • You weren`t allowed in my house if you didn`t listen to the Strangers in the Night album in it`s entirety! Not making this up; I was a UFO freak.

  • i was 15,, i saw this tour..... it was KILLER

  • MICHAEL SCHENKER please give your skills to the only trusted person ( ME ) when u die!!!

  • Schenker and Way remind me, in this perfomance, of a couple of leopard cubs toying with what will be their first kill.

  • Was listening to Kenny Wayne Shepard, and it made me think about how much hype the press gave that kid about his fabulous guitar playing. If there was one real guitar prodigy it was Michael, at the same age he was playing circles around KWS and still does.

  • @fairlanejay Who TF is Kenny Wayne Shepard?

  • @icabodcranium exactly... lol

  • Brilliant group and so are the Scorpions. Saw UFO loads in the 70`s including at St Albans Civic hall on 29.11.1975. I play these CD`s and 12" LP`s all the time and never tire of them. Thanks to the guy from Brookman`s Park whose name I forget - but you introduced me to their first album and it was superb - I had to buy it. (And thanks for looking after my ford anglia too).

  • Good

  • I was maybe 12 or 13 (maybe a bit younger) when I seen UFO at the Tacoma Mall of all places. I may have found out they were going to play there because I knew some disc jockeys from KZOK and KISW(?). There is a building in the Tacoma Mall Parking lot , which is still there. The concert was played behind this building. The lead singer split his pants open in the front and played thru a song as it was ripping open. He ended up putting duct tape over it and continued. Great!

  • @TheNokie65

    Cool story bro

  • they kinda look like they wanna be grand funk in this vid,but they did kick ass live saw them in the late 70s

  • This is truly some of the greatest footage I've ever seen on Youtube...man these guys were the shit!!

  • People were not prepared for them :S.

  • The drummer was fired after this performance. "Hey man, we all agreed to take our shirts off Bob."

  • @AXEFLYERFV pretty sure it was a joke chill.

  • @Nthnmny sorry dude, I didn't see it or felt it was a joke, I saw it as misinformation that's all!

I was hoping he would reply something!

    no big deal!

  • @Nthnmny After all ,he is 52 years old, maybe he knows something I d

  • @AXEFLYERFV I think the "Hey man, we all agreed to take our shirts off" was the clue it was a joking statement.

  • @mnsotapop sorry dude, obviously I didn't get the joke ,since I posted my erronious comment!

I just took it as wrong info. about the drummer being fired that's all!!

    thnx for leting me know!!

  • @flyingwallenda "but mine is glimmering" was his execuse

  • I would love to hear the bass

  • Are there any bands around today that use Marshalls stacked up like that? Don't think so.

Glad i was around to see literally hundreds of acts like these dudes. What a great period of time that was. Superb shows going on every single weekend. Now it's hard to find ONE a month thats worth seeing.

  • @fuxgood airborne uses a metric fuckton of marshalls and so does my all time favorite band megadeth, however your main point that most music today sucks is valid.

  • @megadeth652 So there are 2 bands that uses Marshalls stacked to the sky. Surprising! And now that you mention it, I do know Megadeth uses them but even that band is considered vintage.

  • @fuxgood what about kiss, even if some of the cabs were empty.

  • @eaglebowwer Good thought but Kiss is also another vintage band. I could name a ton of vintage bands who used them. I'm referring to bands that were formed after say the 80's. I know there's got to be a few but not nearly as prevalent as they once were.

  • This absolutely permeates energy and pure badassery!

  • Long Hair Rocks!!! No Bald Fucks!

  • @summer999ppp Say that to Rob Halford.

  • 34 people wouldn't deserve to drink Michael Schenker's ballsweat if they were dying of thirst.

  • I wonder how many girls orgasmed when he was playing that solo

  • @aahlstrom93 I'm one.

  • FTW this song is awesome

  • love the platform shoes,Michael Schenker rules

  • I'll be hitting Rock Bottom again tomorrow night - the 2nd time in the past week.

  • @PaulineVanStanley You'll be in heaven second time around I believe!

Have a great time ...again!! ;)....

  • @AXEFLYERFV

Where do we go, where do we go

Where do we go from here

  • @PaulineVanStanley ;).....

  • This is just so cool, I remember seeing this on TV, I guess that makes me old, or Young at Heart, but I still like to Rock ! There's some bands now days that are very good, but I am glad I was around for the 1st Rockers that played their fingers off.

    Auper Rockin' AXE !!

  • I saw U-F-O live last night.

    Theyre sooooo old lol :p

  • @fatskunkripz420 what about the show? how was it? the oldest would be Phil Mogg, Parker if he was drumming, & Raymond!

Vinnie , Sparks they're still young!!

  • @AXEFLYERFV Yeah I got to touch Vinnie's 3rd and 4th strings :) They played this song. Favorite song. :) Vinnie was drunk and Barry was high as fuck obviously. Poor Phil's back was hurting and his hands were on his kness pretty often. He still sang his heart out though :)

  • @AXEFLYERFV HI Axe, Paul is actually older than Phil! Paul 1945, Phil 1948! :-)

  • @NatureGirl62 thank you for the correction my good friend , hope all is well with you, is always great to hear from you!

    have a great week !!

  • @fatskunkripz420 Saw them Saturday night. They still blow the roof off the place. Axe: Sparks not playing the U.S. dates - Rob DeLuca is back - what a great guy.

  • ชีวิตจิตใจ

  • @fatskunkripz420

Whoa! Hey there now. Bands like this may be a little older, but Phil Mogg is the exact same age as the members of Cheap Trick, KISS and others still hitting the road these days. Phil may be in in 60's, but he sounds great and he still has a slammin' bod - which is a hell of a lot more than I can say about these drunk & drugged out douchebags from the 80's. I mean really, have you seen Motley Crue these days? Phil can run circles around those guys any day of the week.

  • Schenker manages to look like he's in slow motion

  • drugs have nothing to do with this brilliant human being ... he's nothing more than an alcoholic....... not a fuckin' drug addict !!!!!!!

  • @muppy1100 it's funny you say alcoholic like it's nothing, yet a drug addict is a horrible human being, they're pretty much the same thing and neither deserves judgement or disdain

  • don't do drugs kids xD

  • กุ๋ยวะแต่ก็มันดี ๕๕๕

  • one of the first records i ever bought.. schenkers god. his flyin v is the ufo.

  • This whole albums cool but this song is ultra bad ass!

  • was Schenker only 18 when he wrote rock bottom....amazing what good drugs will for you

  • @DEEHARDONE that is one ignorant comment , really man!!

  • สุดยอดครับ ท่าน สั่นสะเทือนล้ำลึก rock bottom !!

  • 5:10 Some old guy wondering onto stage during epic guitar solo!

  • I used to drive the PCH from San Clemente north to Huntington Beach California to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins when I was stationed in San Diego.

I was fortunate enough to be invited to join some neighbors of my cousins to drive to LA and see UFO in concert. Oh, what a night!

  • saw them in 1980 in toronto at massey hall and the back up band was acdc with bonn scott

  • @lowryder6666 I heard about that concert in a Bon Scott interview, must've been one kickass concert!

  • They were pretty cool! Way underrated. Bon Scott probably studied Phil Mogg's showmanship. He had his moves down pretty good.

  • I would like to have had Michael Schenkers' baby

  • @melissahireme LOL!!

  • Friggin awesome jam session.

  • Michael Schenker is a guitar god since he was 16 and Phil Mogg also is great on vocals. UFO is the most underrated band of all time.

  • Omggg Michael is so sexy and talenteddd its not faaaiiirrr hes just so sexy omg im gonna dieeee hahaha <3

  • @BillyGoatsAndEagles many thnx for your comment Billygoats! ;>

  • Sure makes you realize how pathetic the state of music happens to be these days. Especially when it comes to bands put together by some label just to make money. Thank God for old clips such as this one, Many thanks for posting.

  • @grinderman77 So true, I appreciate your comment!

  • 1,111,311 views, woohoo.

Man, if i was in that audience and saw this for the first time, I'd be like WTF? and probably jaw dropped when Schenker starts jamming at 3:35...This was pretty much the most metal you can get for 1975. The main riff is so great

  • @nathantim I agree with you !

Many thnx for comment & tuning in!

  • okay I'll admit it, I got into UFO because Eddie Trunk always talks about them. But I'm sure glad I did! Better late than never \m/\m/

  • @totalstranga Am glad you did, thnx for your comment!

  • To bad mosh pits was not-in in this time!

  • @matsellah Thank you kindly for your comment!!

  • Not Bad for a German^^

  • There was some smoochin' goin on, but I remember it as PM & AM...!

  • HOW THE FUCK COULD YOU DISLIKE THIS?????????

  • I love UFO but Schenker rules. Phil Mogg sings this better than Gary Barton tho.

  • @andysinnott Gary Barden & Phil Mogg n are 2 different styles, nobody can replace the original singer, Mogg totally rules with UFO & Schenker, I agree with you!!

many thnx for tuning in & comment!

  • and people thought i was crazy for listenin to this back in the day man u can't beat some ufo

  • @psba66 Some people even had the audacity to call me Lunatic back then when I was listeing to UFO too , am 51 now, I guess am still a lunatic & you're crazy, what do they know!!

thank you for tuning in brother & comment!!

  • @AXEFLYERFV Yes,you were a lunatic.Anyway,KEEP THE UFO VID'S COMIN' BRO.

  • @MrJohnnyDistortion Right on man, thnx for tuning in, much appreciated!

  • @psba66 people thought you were crazy? wtf was their problem, i geuse they were too mainstream

  • Everything a rock band should be, and nothing it shouldn't.

    Simply awesome.

  • K then, I know this is an old clip, but can anybody tell me what kind of pants those guys are wearing and where I might be able to find a pair?!?!? cuz these dudes are sick!!

  • @nayrniak '70's clothes are back in style google , Hippies clothes from the 70's ,you'll find yourself a nice pair!

    & I ain't kidding man!!

    thnx for watching & comment!

  • @nayrniak In case you didn't notice, it isn't about the pants - and definitely not about the shirts.

    Listen to the music!

    But they may be Peanuts.

  • @nayrniak Yea they're called bell Bottoms lol we used to wear those in the 70s. Used to get caught in my bicycle chain all the time

  • Great raw sound. Thank god they didn't auto-tune back then.

  • guys the dislikes button is not the diownload button

  • @XxxBlueWafflexxX No shit, we can tell by the thumbs down. Anyways, Schenker and UFO rules!

  • @MetalzShredah550 33 dislike is so fu cking high for the legend like UFO

  • Man,It simply doesn't get any better than this!!

  • Thank you Don Kirshners rock concert

  • @Captlafl69 Don Kirshners Rock Concert was great in the early 70's, but then he changed it featuring nigger bands such as Shalamar, kool and the gang, Earth Wind and Fire, Etc.

  • @PumpkinPuffer Hey man, no need to get racist here!

this all about music, have a lil more class & respect !

  • WOW, This song is classic good! MS tears it up! Nuf said.
